Nice try! Yes, they are one in purpose, however, don't diminish our God! God is one, the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. Each are God, One God.One in purpose
One in purpose! Is if that were all!
He is not like you.

I disagree.. we have plenty of history, the gospels and commentaries that leave no doubt that Jesus was Fully Man and Fully God.It's simple to say...impossible to prove
Note a single verse teaching hypostasis in the Bible.I disagree.. we have plenty of history, the gospels and commentaries that leave no doubt that Jesus was Fully Man and Fully God.
You don't have the evidence only a fabrication in your own mind.Nice try! Yes, they are one in purpose, however, don't diminish our God! God is one, the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. Each are God, One God.

makes no sense what you say.if a preacher tells us to wash our hair in a bowl of urine, but its not in the bible, we should just do what he says because the Lord is mysterious?
by this logic we dont need a bible, just make it up as we go i guess.
why do you think we dont need bibles?makes no sense what you say.
John 20 30-31
30Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; 31but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
i always thought the end of John was interesting, they tell us Jesus did all these things, many miracles, but the main focus, according to those taught by Him, was that Jesus was the Christ, Jesus was the Son of the Most High.
no mention of Jesus being G-D, no mention of a trinity.
do i get the trinity is not in any of those verses nor do they say one must believe in it to be a follower of Jesus.Jesus about the indwelling Holy Spirit
John 14:16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever,
John 14:17 even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.
Paul confirms Jesus words
1Cor 6:19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own,
1Cor 6:20 for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.
And the same Paul also said
Gal 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Do you get the picture ?
Im puzzled. If Jesus is God why did he say-
“Why do you call me good?..No one is good except God alone" (Luke 18:19)
"Only God knows when Judgment Day will be, I don't know myself" (Mark 13:32)
"I say nothing of my own accord, I only say what my father tells me to say.." (John 12:49)
"I am going to the Father, for my Father is greater than I" (John 14:28)
do i get the trinity is not in any of those verses nor do they say one must believe in it to be a follower of Jesus.
"within you" does not define trinity, nor does it command one to follow any doctrines.
Off to the ad hominems. You don't have the evidence only a fabrication in your own mind.
Gen does not say who the "us: and "our" are. you can find other examples in the bible,
Many dont seem to my friend .Jesus about the indwelling Holy Spirit

Without evidence you are left with creeds of men...sad place to be reallyOff to the ad hominems.
I guess that's all then.
Much love!
in another place paul writes the Spirit of ChristSo you did not understand.
Whose Spirit was inside Paul ?
In 1 Cor Paul says the Holy Spirit.
in Gal Paul says it is Jesus.
Oneness in the Trinity.
I really wish they would have just left the word GOD HEAD like paul used .So you did not understand.
Whose Spirit was inside Paul ?
In 1 Cor Paul says the Holy Spirit.

Presumption will not help you here either. Honesty would go a long ways. Which would get rid of your condescension in a heartbeat! To the point, though, when someone descends into ad hominems, it betrays the emptiness of their convictions and arguments. It shows the lack of spiritual maturity that would accompany spiritual understanding.Without evidence you are left with creeds of men...sad place to be really
You're mistaking honesty for condescension. If both of us recognize that even a single element of this doctrine, such as hypostasis, is never discussed in Scripture, let alone all the intricate dogmas built around it, then that’s simply a fact. The real honesty is in your willingness to acknowledge that truth and meet me at that point. Once you arrive there, we can discuss the inspired Word but not before that.Presumption will not help you here either. Honesty would go a long ways. Which would get rid of your condescension in a heartbeat!

Not so, but you can take it or leave it.You're mistaking honesty for condescension.
And if we recognize the core teaching that our Creator God took on flesh, was born the Man we know being Jesus, that is what is needed to progress to truth. After that, parse away on man's attempts to understand this inconceivable miracle. If both of us recognize that even a single element of this doctrine,
