Jesus said, "Ye of little faith." after Peter walked on water. - Where does that leave us?

take a good long look at that . cause that is what the love of so many is allowing all who are in sin and unbeleif
TO DO . that there is your harlots love . IT wont correct , it wont point to Christ , it wont correct the sins and errors within even a church .
BUT THAT is exactly what that love allows upon the person IT WONT CORRECT . they drown and die in unbeleif .
That is a u niversalists incliusivians love RIGHT THERE In action . ALLOWING them to DROWN IN THEIR UNBELIEF
and hollering just grab ahold of the air abov e you , all is fine .

Well yes, the kind of faith that saves is the kind that produces 'works' - i.e. a changed life.

Faith (the genuine sort) always links to action.

This is true and then the reformed theology peeps come along and claim we are not supposed to be walking in good works at all as they clear the way for the devil to teach people it's OK to live in sin claiming they will still be saved.

It's a trick of the devil. It's one of his snares.

it has got so bad that now even the gospel of ye must beleive in JESUS to be saved is being called legalism .
This generation calls everything that gets in the way of their love , which is their sin , LEGALISM .

Take the case, my brothers, of someone who has never done a single good act but claims that he has faith. Will that faith save him? Faith is like that: if good works do not go with it, it is quite dead. I will prove to you that I have faith by showing you my good deeds – now you prove to me that you have faith without any good deeds to show.

Oh dear, you love making assumptions about others because of your lack of understanding.

There is no point of "moving a mountain" if you do not replace that mountain with the rock/stone untouched by human hands that will become the largest mountain in all of the earth.

I wonder what religion that will be. Can you guess @rvmb?
Move your 'mountains' JR, you are an predictable waste of time

You are so quick to find fault with others, like in the thread of "who is your neighbour" where you demanded that I invite a homeless person into my home to demonstrate that I do "love" homeless people.

Similarly, you obviously do not know what a metaphor is in this thread. Not everything that we read in the bible can be taken literally nor can every metaphor in the bible needs to be taken figuratively to represent something serious in Christ's teaching.

Sure, you can move a literally mountain one spade full at a time, but when granite is struck then plastic explosives placed in drilled holes set out in a systematic pattern will shatter the discovered hard mountain rock to enable us to move that mountain rock.

In the passages where Christ's talks about our faith in what we pray, He spoke about the removal of the spiritual blockages in the form of false religions can be removed through prayer so that they disappear from within the sea of humanity within a particular region.

We are all one Body in Christ, but the many parts of Christ's Body have different purposes and functions to perform. I may have the function of an ear or an eye within the body, and this role within the Body of Christ is just as important as the role of an evangelist who preaches the Gospel and sometimes choses to use word when necessary. Others may minister to the hungry and uses food if necessary as a means to draw them into God's Loving Embrace and purposes.

I sense that you may be a pauper since you seem not to spend much time in considering your navel.

I do reflect much on what I see and hear from God's word.

Salvation is by grace, not works. Even dead faith is saving faith.

1 Corinthians 3:12-15 NIV
If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw,
13 their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light.
It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work.
14 If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward.
15 If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved
even though only as one escaping through the flames.

You don't trust the Bible but you quote the Bible.

Quoting STV: "no wonder I don't trust the Bible."

Why would I quote the Bible if I don't trust it?
Because you said you don't trust the Bible. lol

Quoting STV: "no wonder I don't trust the Bible."
Sounds like you misunderstand.
I do understand. You clearly attacked several Books of the Bible that confirmed the Genesis Flood to be Literal. Consistent with your comment: "no wonder I don't trust the Bible."
