JESUS Told Us The Signs To Watch For Before He Comes Back To Get Us Christians = Matthew 24;3-8, II Timothy 3;1-7

Matthew 24;3-8

And as He sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto Him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Matthew 24:14-18

And this Gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place (whoso readeth, let him understand). Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

Matthew 24:20-22

But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

Matthew 24:29-31

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Matthew 24:32-39

Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Matthew 24:40-44

Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

II Timothy 3;1-7

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy; Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good; Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: From such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts; Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the Truth.

These are "not" signs of Jesus' coming or of the end. Which, if you will notice, the question was about two different things: 1) His coming, and 2) the end of the world.
So His answer is answering them, not regarding what they did ask, but what they would have asked if they had know better. Therefore, He first told them rather what were not signs.
Here Jesus gave the answer of when "the end" comes, marked by two things...because, again, there were two questions. First He marked the end as being the time of the gospel being preached unto all nations--which happened over many generations, showing that to be the answer to when the end of the world comes...as if continues unto the end of the world.
Then He marked the time of the other question as being when the Abomination of Desolation standing in the holy place occurs--which is greatly misunderstood. The same is true of the Great Tribulation. Both speak of the same event, one is the cause, and the other is the effect. The Abomination of Desolation standing in the holy place, Jesus referred to speaking of the Temple of His body, rather than the temple of stone--this is clarified in the gospels. So--how does abomination stand in Jesus' body? Well, we have to understand that He gave up His body, saying "take eat, this is My body"--to the church. Which means that evil would enter into the church--which Peter foretold as "false teachers" bringing in "destructive heresies" (desolations) 2 Peter 2:1.
Two questions, and two answers. The first question regarding Jesus' coming--which began to occur as soon as false teachers entered into his body, the church; and the second question regarding the end of the world, occurring from the time that the good news began to be spread beginning in Galilee, and extending unto that last people to be born--to include "all peoples."
This now includes the time of Great Tribulation, which parameters are set from "since the beginning of the world" unto "nor ever shall be." In other words, the greatest tribulation of all time. And there is only one time of great tribulation that qualifies: That be all tribulation combined, being placed upon Christ. There can be no greater tribulation than all tribulation.
When was that--when was all tribulation placed upon Christ? Which also qualifies Jesus to be named "The End"--and the answer to one of the two questions.
This description is of these heavens that we now see, falling--which is exactly what happens when time is no more for any one person. Which Paul elaborated to say, "but each one in his own order." And being written, we need not die to believe the heavens shall rain the day of our passing.
However, it is the day of Christ's passing in which this event describes, while the day of our own passing is "but each one in his own order." This we can also know because it is written that we "were" crucified with Him. Which ought to tell all who believe, that time is but an illusion of what otherwise all occurs "in Christ" in His time...which is and was The day of the Lord.
As for "the sun being darkened and the moon not giving her light" (and the actual timing of events), the book of Revelation shows that when the light goes out in this world for each of us, it is no more needed where we shall be "for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light." Again, "but each one in his own order."
"You are the branches."
The tender branches were the apostles.
This too has been greatly misunderstood. But following "You must be born again"--how many are then "in a field" or "grinding at the mill" if one is born twice?
And then the religious beliefs disclaimer, saying the hour you "think" or "expect" the Son of Man is coming--is wrong. That is what He said.
Overlay this passage with "there is nothing new under the sun." In other words, these things have always been true. Again, meaning, "but each one in his own order."

Both gentlemen covered this well and documentation. Yes, Matthew chapter 24, Luke chapter 21, and second Timothy chapter 3. You forgot about first thessalonians chapter 5. For when they shall say, peace and safety; then sudden destruction shall come upon them. Were hearing peace TREATYS and peace accords. The 7 seals of revelation chapter 6 align with the 7 signs Jesus gave us in Matthew chapter 24. The third seal is inflation and spirtual famine. Amos chapter 8, famine is hearing God's truth, many false preachers teaching traditions of men and false doctrine. The seals are out of order. If someone doesn't understand the seals and trumps of revelation, their biblically illiterate. Jesus also taught in gospel of Luke, conditions of the world would be moral decay. Congress just passed bill into law for same sex marriage. It would be like sodom and gomorrah just before Jesus returns 7th trump. Satan arrives 6th trump as antichrist.

Jesus speaking of the End Time in mark ch 13-
"Wars, rumours of wars, false christs, earthquakes, famines, persecutions, darkened sun and moon, falling stars, shaken planets.
Pray that this will not take place in winter, because those will be days of distress unequaled from the beginning until now, and never to be equalled again.
If the Lord had not cut short those days, no one would survive.
But for the sake of the elect, whom he has chosen, he has shortened them.
Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come.

What I say to you, I say to everyone: Watch!"
