Exactly right.

Bait. That's precisely what this thread should be called with the first post.
Well @KUWN did admit the post was provocative later on . I saw it was early on in the posts made so I really thought nothing of it .
It was meant to be provocative.
It did cause some of us to search the bible for what he was talking about . Searching for information in the Bible is always a win if you ask me . Don't let the thread bother you too much , you never know what may confront you on a forum @Sister-n-Christ .

Sound advice.

Yes,the admission later that he initially intended to provoke Christians here should have alerted us to his motives for being here at all. Especially when he started a thread that he intended to defame Jesus ministry.

He will repent one day.

I've set him to ignore. As I also did with another provocateur who hijacked the Islam thread and named himself after the Gospel of Jesus.

I know people need something to occupy their time with but, come on!

Jesus said to Peter, Follow me, and I will make you a fisher of men. Do fishermen use bait?

Find the gift, and receive it.

Much love!
You're reaching so to give pardon to the motives of one who needs it through Christ alone.

If it is organic, natural, bait stinks. And dirties your hands.

Ignore button is very handy. I use it too. Good for helping to keep the peace.

Not so! I've caught many a trout with bits of chedder cheese. I don't have any issues with His OP, but then, I knew right away what verse he had in mind, and what he was getting at with it.

I like things that make people think. Don't be sore! I have no idea his deep inside motives, I suspect they are good, but that's for Jesus to say, not me. Nor you.

Much love!

The devil copies God and uses bait too so beware of the bait
Like I told our sister in Christ, I knew right away the verse he was referring to, and I figured I knew what he was getting at. Of course the thread had been going a while before I joined it.

Our lives need to match our words, or what meaning is there to our words?

Much love!

Ah,but you are saying. Repeatedly.

I'll be departing his thread now.

On a virtual forum, we have no idea what kind of life someone who posts has, how they walk out their faith.
I can agree with Jesus though that out of the heart the mouth speaks. It is kind of hard to hide that, but some do for awhile.
But it always slips out eventually.

Romans 16

17 Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them. 18 For those who are such do not serve our Lord [d]Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple. 19 For your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be wise in what is good, and [e]simple concerning evil. 20 And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly.

You can just sort of feel the oily speech of Satan being mentioned in this verse.

New International Version
His talk is smooth as butter, yet war is in his heart; his words are more soothing than oil, yet they are drawn swords.

All we have is what someone writes, how they write. And yes, we are revealed in our words.

Much love!

Did you know why the Jewish people say the day begins at evening and ends in the morning?

3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. [b]So the evening and the morning were the first day.

All the days of the creation, God speaks of in this way.

Before the Sun and moon and stars, God declared days according to the light and the darkness.
