Then you reject the truth.
When i seen this simple statement i knew something was be said .
Mailmandan , MANY now reject the Truth , the actual Love of GOD , for the love of a harlot .
But not the SHEEP dan . NO sir , for JESUS has the sheep .
And HE IS THE TRUTH and His words are Truth . And the sheep do heed and follow HIM
and he goes before them and keeps them safe from the deceptoins of men .
Any time love is used to silence truth , OH IT AINT LOVE of GOD mail man dan .
And any time a so called loving action , IS ALLOWING sin and error to remain on this people ,
OH it be NOT the LOVE OF GOD at all .
For it be clearly written , YE shall NOT HATE your neighbor in your heart but you SHALL CORRECT him and NOT allow sin upon him .
But seeker friendly inclusive ecumeincal love said , OH Judge not , correct not . Sounds like hate to me dan .
Sounds like it comes from one who hates as well and desires THE DESTRUcTION and d eath of all .
SO all he doing is SHUTTING DOWN THE TRUTH and promoting his lies . That the devil dan .

One came long ago so that all who do believe in HIM shall have life eternal . abundant life .
another one quickly came in his own name
so that all who do beleive in him shall remain in death and the end everlasting destruction .
And he gonna lie lie lie my friends .
That one will not do as JESUS , as GOD does . Correcting sin and error and speaking truth , IT will NOT DO this .
For it does not desire the good of the people but rather THEIR DEATH and DESTRUCTION .
And oh yeah its infiltrated a whole mess of christendom now . It and its ecumenical harlot .
To lead this people to the day of perdition , by selling a lie that cliams oh this is the way to PEACE N SAFETY .
OH but he is a liar . OH i say , but HE do surely lie . but sadly it seems many now love a lie .
And they have bought the love that accepts and do not expose and rebuke sin .
And even now this inclusive god has made a real braod inclusive path , To what IT says be GOD .
ONLY , YEAH UNBELEIF is NOT OF GOD . in fact if one beleives NOT the testimony that GOD gave
of THE SON , they call GOD a liar . someone is all over this christendom , this ecumeincal intefaith .
And he was first seen in genesis telling the woman , HAS GOD really SAID .
WE , my friends , GOT INFILTRATED big time . And now the call is COME YE OUT from amongst
anything ecumeincal and NOW . For on the day of THE LORD GOD ALL MIGHTY and THE LAMB
that entire house and all in it , are GOING DOWN .

if one TRULY BELEIVES JESUS , THEY OBEY JESUS .
This generation is always pitting things against TRUTH .
THEY DO it with the bible too .
I have heard them say , WHEN IT COMES TO LOVE or the BIBLE they choose love .
KINDA TOTALLY LOST THAT IS .
CHARITY . WHAT DOES LOVE REJOICE IN , HELLO THE TRUTH . THERE IS NO LOVE OF GOD
that chooses between LOVE AND T RUTH . TOTALLY LOST is this generation . ANd i do mean TOTALLY .
The only one that would have us to choose , put a difference between LOVE and TRUTH
Between LOVE and OBEIDANCE , is lost .
WHAT IS THE NUMBER ONE COMMANDMENT OF GOD ALL MIGHTY . HELLO , ITS TO LOVE THE LORD
WITH ALL YOUR HEART , ALL YOUR SOUL , with ALL thine understanding .
ONLY the love that comes of the world , and boy the devil uses that , would try and seperate the TWO .
WAKEY wakey . Wakey and wakey up o generation who loves a lie and NOT the TRUTH .

It's not even an issue of "faith alone versus faith and works", it's, literally, just the plain bare facts of what is written in Scripture. Literal logic. If it were any other issue, I'd have the same objection--"You are being incoherent."

In my understanding you all are hitting upon a very important--and, perhaps, THE MOST IMPORTANT--aspect of what is written (and that's why I wish you could harmonize your "takes" on this aspect with the other aspects of Scripture), but I cannot ignore one Biblical truth in order to acknowledge one other Biblical truth. I have to acknowledge ALL of them (to the best of my ability).
I may have been granted, due to others' prayers, and graces, not anything of my own, to understand :

The unforgiving steward was, indeed, forgiven, but, afterwards, due to his behavior, had that forgiveness rescinded. His faith was not completed by works. What was his faith? That he was accepted only by mercy, not works. But he did not walk in that, complete his faith with works. "How should I live, as a person who is justified and at peace only by mercy, and there's nothing I could ever do to deserve God, because He's too costly, too good, and nothing I could do could earn enough merit to afford Him, so that He must be accepted as a gift?" Peter says he forgot he was cleansed of his former sins, and, thus, did not result in fruitfulness in the knowledge of the Lord, but, rather, he did not represent the Lord, but refused to be merciful (the correct articulation of "the Lord" as he knew "the Lord" to be).

So, on one hand, justification is by Grace and mercy alone, and there's nothing we could ever do to be justified, and, then, on the other, we should walk as if that were true, declaring that truth with our walk, or else we aren't actively believing it (eg, if we say we must do something good to "finalize" the deal, that may break it), but the person who lives to declare that truth declares God, has God as his righteousness, so lives righteously, so is completing his faith with his works, and is justified by his faith completed by works.

So, you have both at the same time.

John 3:30He must increase; I must decrease.
John 7:18The one speaking from himself seeks his own glory, but the One seeking the glory of the One having sent Him, He is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him.
John 15: 9As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Remain in My love. 10If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love. ... 12This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you."

So, he didn't decrease, didn't seek God's glory (didn't love as he had been loved), so he didn't abide in faith (but broke Jesus's command), and, so, wasn't fruitful in the knowledge of the Lord, and was cut off and thrown in the fire.

The two "commands" (1 Jn 3:22), believe in the Name of God's Son, and love one another, are a singular "command" (1 Jn 3:23), because you must declare the love God showed you when you walk, completing faith (that God loved you and accepted you by grace and mercy alone, not works), by declaring that faith in your dealings with others, not changing your mind in your dealings with others, but remaining in the Word, keeping His "command" to believe in His love (1 Jn 4:16) and to, as you are believing, then, not change your mind, but, in peace, not to become justified, but as a justified person, declare and share that same love... or else, are you really continuing to believe in His love and mercy? How could you be continuing to believe in His love and mercy, but not, with that same mind and heart, exude and express that?

@mailmandan I had a breakthrough today. I determined I would FORGIVE from my heart someone who had offended me to glorify God. Then others. Many will misunderstand, and think " glorifying God" means casting out devils, doing miracles (Mt 7), but STEP #1 in telling the world about our Wonderful Jesus is in FORGIVING, I learned from Mt 18. I had no extraordinary feeling of "love" for anyone, but I determined to FORGIVE, not hold anyone in contempt, nor captive, and THEN I felt all of these feelings of love and close to Jesus. My life is different now. If anyone has prayed for me, thank you, thank you, thank you!

Praise God! RHS In Matthew 18, we see that we are to forgive others without limits because God has forgiven us a massive, unpayable debt. Forgiveness is essential according to God because it mirrors His character, restores relationships, promotes unity, and transforms both the individual and others. It is our responsibility to forgive, which is central to Christianity and the believer’s spiritual journey.

Ephesians 4:32 - Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.

Colossians 3:12 - So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience; 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you.
