More importantly, can you give me a reference where the Roman Catholic Church, refutes and denies any of this?

In other words you cannot find any evidence that it is an official teaching of the Catholic Church.

Hey Mungo,

Let me help you out... Perhaps you didn't notice that Axehead embedded the link in the title of his post #479.

Can you explain why you are concerned about The 15 Promises of Our Lady to Christians Who Recite the Rosary ?

Did you spot something that isn't true?

Yes dragonfly I noticed something that isn't true and that is the article itself, along with the founder of that web site Father Robert Fox, its time for Father Fox to close down his 'Fatima Family Apostolate " and stop holding himself out as a faithful exponent of the Message of Fatima. For if he will not, then Fr. Fox has sold out to the neo-modernist insurgency that has relentlessly compromised the human element of the Church since Vatican II. He has ceased to be "a priest in good standing".

I haven't expressed any concern in them..

In 2002 Pope John Paul II wrote an Apostolic Letter about the Rosary called Rosarium Virginis Mariae. He did not mention these supposed 15 promises.

The Directory of Popular Piety discusses the Rosary, but no mention of 15 promises.

The Catechism mentions the Rosary, but no mention of 15 promises

I will defend Catholic teaching but why waste time on what is not Catholic teaching?

Right on, neophyte. The Fatima Family Apostolate is founded by a suspended priest, Fr. Gruner. Although some of the things contained in those web sites bear truth, the apostolate itself is designed to trick uneducated Catholics into thinking it is an authentic representative of the Church, when in fact it is a scam.

Christians who mediate on the main aspects of the Bible on a daily basis can derive similar benefits as a Catholic who recites the rosary. Objectors to the rosary are simply blind and ignorant, clinging on to outdated prejudices of the past. Once again, Axehead puts his foot in his mouth.

'Christians who mediate on the main aspects of the Bible on a daily basis', are going to be built up in their inner man in ways far beyond the power of reciting the rosary, because God Himself honours His word and HImself bears witness to the believer that His word is true. He
establishes truth in the believer's heart and mind through meditation on His word. His word is intrinsically powerful.

Ephesians 6:17 '... the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit...'

1 John 2:5 But whoso keeps his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

Proverbs 30:5 Every word of God [is] pure: he [is] a shield to them that put their trust in him.

The twelve disciples gave us this example:

Acts 6:2 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God...'

clinging on to outdated prejudices of the past.

Did you mean to write this? It looks like English, but it makes no sense. To those trying to make sense of it, stop! You're right. It doesn't make sense in the context in which it was presented. Context makes all the difference to sense-making. God's word makes sense.

Objectors to the rosary are simply blind and ignorant,

'Objectors to the rosary' are not blind, Objectors to the rosary are not ignorant. 'Objectors to the rosary' have a live, personal relationship with God, in which they are led by the Holy Spirit in prayers of acknowledgement to the Father for all His wonderful benefits; in which they praise and worship the Lamb, and glorify His holy name, and rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory. They offer thanksgiving, and make supplication for their needs, or when words fail, find their hearts expressed to Him by the groanings of the Spirit, which are interpreted according to His will.

We can see a parallel comparison between Roman Catholic tradition and life in Christ Jesus, and Jewish laws and life in Christ Jesus, here:

Hebrews 9:6 - 14 Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service [of God]. But into the second [went] the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and [for] the errors of the people: the Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing: which [was] a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed until the time of reformation.

But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies to the purifying of the flesh: how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

If you let it.

If you invite Him to cleanse your heart and mind of all sin, He will. You will know you are clean and pure.

Then, receive the Holy Spirit to help you remain in fellowship with Him, knowing His word to your heart directly.

Brothers and sisters and seekers of God, the blood of Christ does purge the conscience from sin and fear and dead works which cannot save.

Objectors to the rosary are unable to comprehend the posts explaining how the rosary is a Bible study, and unceasing prayer as Paul commands. All they see are the externals. Satan hates Mary and objectors think they are on God's side by condemning something they refuse to understand.

LOL
The Rosary is to uplift and acknowledge Mary. The Catholic church itself says so. The church's own words were given earlier in this very thread.
When you say the "Hail Mary" 53 times in a five-decade Rosary, but say the "Our Father" - the way the Lord HIMSELF actually taught us to pray - only six times, it makes it impossible to claim it is anything other than what the Catholic Church says it is - tribute to Mary.

Satan HATED Mary because of her love for Jesus and her unwavering obedience.
He now loves the attention given her.
He much prefers a person focus their prayer time on her than on Jesus where it belongs.

Satan loves the Catholic Mary because she diminishes Christ and Satan has many "tools" in his bag to diminish Christ and cause people to focus on anyone or anything but Jesus Christ.

Where is the life of the Spirit in the Believer as they speak to the Lord in a relational way, pouring their heart out before Him? My kids don't speak to me through beads or other "props". Sometimes they use a cell phone to speak to me, but they are still speaking to me in a relational way and not by "rote" or "ritual". And this is why we see no evidence of beads in historical Christianity. However, we do see evidence of prayer beads in many false religions.

One cannot appeal to Psalm 136 that alternates the same phrase 26 times with 26 different blessings God gives us. It is not 26 in a row as with the rosary! This is also a song, not a prayer. Revelation 4:8 has "angels singing" not "men praying"

Below: Six (6) Our Fathers and Fifty-three (53) Hail Mary's.

And speaking of the number 53, Isaiah 53 prophecies Jesus Christ's grief, suffering and death. There is absolutely no prophecy whatsoever of Mary's suffering and grief.

For a mere mortal (Mary) to be raised up to such honor and glory and authority, you would think there would be many OT prophecies about that. The Lord is very good to us in that He established prophetic utterances in the OT of extremely important and notable events to take place in the New Testament. However, the OT is almost completely silent about the many honors that Mary has received through the Catholic religion.

10 ¶ Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

Here is a good test. If it takes away from Jesus Christ in any way, or diminishes Him or brings Him lower than something or someone, then it does not pass the "simplicity test".

The Roman Catholic spirit is a very strong spirit as it maintains a tight grip on many people's emotions and lives. Though one can present information that seems quite reasonable and common sensical according to what is in Scripture or what is not in Scripture, don't be baffled as to why many don't receive the TRUTH. Because, they are already under the impression that they have the TRUTH. You see, the TRUTH has been adjusted. Their foundation for the Truth is no longer just the Scriptures and the Holy Spirit. The Truth to them are many additional things besides the Scriptures. Here are just two of those things:

An 846 page book (Catholic Catechism), and

The 668 page Code of Catholic Canon Law

Is it no wonder that the Word of God is not held in high honor when you have 1500 pages of extra biblical commandments and traditions that nullify God's Word?
