You know how Jesus had just fed thousands of people on a few loaves and fish -the baskets were never empty and all were fed with leftovers?And you know how the disciples were so shocked and amazed on the boat when Jesus quieted the storm...right after Jesus had fed thousands from near nothing in front of their eyes?What miracle or answered prayer has God done in your life that you keep in your remembrance to keep your heart from hardening? It's hard for me to describe all of my ways, but for example - I took a picture of a miracle He manifested for me and look at it almost everyday and smile thanking God again. It was a miraculous manifestation out of thin air when I had a deadline --right down to 1/8 of an inch!! Right out of thin air!What do you keep in your remembrance ---personal stuff ---we all know there a verses and truths in the Bible we may repeat to ourselves to keep our hearts open.Thanks, for our edification,:) Miss Hepburn

I guess for me it is the invasion of the thousands of illegal Mexicans into this country that we chose to call ours when in reality It Is Gods as my bible tells me "The earth is the Lords and the fullness there of, the world and they that live therein" and if God chooses to Bless those I would call alians into this part of HIS world, I can complain and not like it, and wonder why our govt. dosen't stop it, but I remind myself whos land I am living on, and it keeps me from being hard hearted toward them, I feel safe in believing that the Canaanites were not to happy with the Israelites invading what they thought was their land either, but God was, Could it be Gods's payback for the two hundred or more years we abused and made slaves of the black man??? While I can see your sediments we are told by God we are to follow civil law and give caesars caesars due ...They are breaking our civil laws .... Therefore their actions are not in following Gods laws... and rewarding them for breaking our laws and in turn Gods is not right ... You have presented some examples however the cannities were idol worshipers so they were punished ...God also punished Egypt ...are we being punished? perhaps ...But it doesnt change the fact the civil laws of a country are to be followed ...Mexico has their civil laws also so does that mean we can go down there and break theirs ? Or any country we choose?With your reasoning it would seem so sense its all Gods land ... You See this just brings chaos and breaks down the civil law of any country thats why God says we are to follow civil Law. Does that mean we are not to be with out compassion? NO, but every country has civil laws for a reason.

You say we should conform to our civil laws and I agree that the bible says to do so, but only if those laws do not override Gods laws, I would assume that all of the lands that God told Israel to possess had some form of civil laws as well, even though they were ruled by kings, but when our civil laws under the Supreme Court approve Abortion should we honor the dicision of nine humans put in power by man or continue to regard it as a sin as God does, The question I feel we have to answer is who has the final authority in America, God or man. And the land Israel God gave Israel was filled with Idoll worshippers and giants(off spring of fallen angels and men) God was using Israel to cleanse the land ..So that isnt even the same as illeagls breaking our civil Laws.
