There is this fascination with Islam and some political leaders. I think its about their love of total power. Islam demands total submission to religious authorities and those Islamic authorities run entire governments. There is no discourse or discussion allowed from those ruled by Islam.

Citizens who object as troublemakers can face tortures or death. That naturally appeals to some people who dream about ruling like that.

There's many British citizens that are upset that the King gave a Ramadan message but no Easter message. Some British news or British talk shows are mentioning it. Also Welsh Bishop Cei Dewar who recently wrote a letter to the King with no response.

The King hosted their Eid holiday meal last year at Windsor Castle. And was seen with his wife wrapping dates for the Muslim holiday. And he recently welcomed the King of Nigeria while Christians are being slaughtered in Nigeria. I doubt he spoke out on behalf of the Nigerian Christians.
