Law has been replaced by Grace.
Your welcome.
that's not what Paul says is it?
Rom 3:29
Is he the God of the Jews only?
is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also: 30 Seeing
it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith. 31
Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
and Grace goes back before the law the Torah the covenant:
Gen_6:8 But Noah found
grace in the eyes of the LORD.
there is a prevailing theology called something to the effect of replacement as in the Christian community is the replacement for Israel could have been during the catholic church's reign not sure. that school of thought is said to be dwindling and your thinking is a part of that.
and the law is still the testament that it is that man is what he is and the Son of God is the Son of God nothing has changed but the fulfillment of the Son of God in the flesh.
also Jesus says:
Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach
them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
to say that grace replaces the law is ignorant of the fact that the law is a testament to He who came in Truth and Grace. and also what you are saying is what Jesus says in 19 is obsolete in your opinion.
