Good evening ladies,
Its evening here in the U.K. Been a hard few days at work and my knee is quite painful. @Pearl , I see we are due to get a mini heatwave before it turns colder for the Easter weekend. Don’t forget to put your clock forward tonight. I hate losing that hour, it always catches up with me on Monday morning.
Hope you have a good week off Mayflower xxxx
Rita
Hi Rita, I don't know if we'll get the heatwave up here but I hope so. I've had a couple of cuppas outside so far but look forward to friends and family being able to joins us again in the garden. I've alread done my watch and my alarm clock so just the two living room clocks to do in the morning. I'm sorry to hear that your knee is playing up again, when will you next get a break?

I haven’t had any cuppas outside yet, but I have got my table and chair out on the patio ready xx
I am off tomorrow, but I had a week off recently and it made no difference to the knee issue.
I have time off in April, but really need an X-ray to determine what’s wrong ( was waiting for one when we went into lockdown last year, think I am out of the system now ) A cortisone injection might help- got to last three more years before I can retire and not be on my feet for so long working.

Would some sort of knee brace help?

Hey Rita! Welcome! Another lovely lady I forgot to tag. <3

I have been super tired today, but feel like a million bucks after finally getting a nap in.

Sadly as a housekeeper I have to do so much work bending my knees , a knee brace would hinder the job. Also I have no idea what the actual problem is, so I could make it worse

I have 3 mini schnauzers who dictate when I go to bed, and when I get up  They also want to go outside about, hmm...8-10 or even more, times! That's just fine though, lol...if it weren't for them, I'd probably have blood clots :D They can make me crazy (er) lol...but I love them so much. God surely did bless me with them

What is a cuppa?

Sorry to hear your knee is hurting. I'll agree with you for healing in prayer.

Trying to get my oldest potty trained if y'all have any tips. I know it has been awhile for y'all and not at all for the rest :D

Our children are way past that age...but we have five grandchildren. our granddaughter just started using the potty a few days ago. She is in daycare. One thing that helped her was seeing all her friends using the big potty. And her teacher said no more pull-ups except only at nap time. The first day there were a few accidents. After that, there have not been any. One thing our daughter has voiced is how different (better)it has been training her on an actual toilet you can flush, instead of a potty you have to dump.

Thank you x
A ‘ cuppa ‘ is a cup of tea, it’s just become a word we all use over here xx

Potty training, mine were all different, started at different times and learned it at different rates of time. I did use to get mine sitting on potty while watching their favourite cartoons. I did put it off with my third son, which did not help him, but he still got the hang of it. They now do trainer pants ect, something that wasn’t around for three of my children. They are a great help when you go out during training.

Im sort of glad we are done now, but we can foster in the future if we want to.
I thought I was all done after three, I then became pregnant a year after stylisation and the clips were in place when I had surgery after he was born. Gift from God x

I'm WRONG again.... I would have guessed a cuppa to be coffee NOT tea... but that is probably the Canadian coming out in me.

British = tea first, although coffee is much more popular than it use to be. I love Costa coffee, but tea is my main hot drink ! Rita

Good morning all ye daughters of the KING. Don't forget to put on your garments of PRAISE.

(taken from my devotional Jesus Today... it is written as if Jesus is the speaker )

LET HIM WHO GLORIES GLORY IN THIS, THAT he understands and knows Me. This world you inhabit is increasingly complex and confusing. You have more information at your fingertips than you could process in a lifetime. There are so many demands on you---from the world, the church, other people, yourself. As a result, it's easy to feel lost and perplexed. To find Peace in this chaotic clutter, you need to set priorities according to My will. It is crucial to make your relationship with Me the top priority---nurturing and strengthening your connection with Me.

Nothing is as important as understanding Me: knowing and loving Me as I truly am. This requires focused time with Me as well as ongoing communication with Me throughout your day. The clearest, most trustworthy teaching about Me is in the Bible. The beauty of nature also proclaims Me and reveals My Glory.

Making ME your highest priority gives focus to your thinking. Other priorities fall into their proper place when I am first and foremost in your life.
