Letter to Will.

[SIZE=medium]This is a letter I believe I was given. It came together in my head and I just had to type it out and sent it to the guy I was supposed to sent it to.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]But it also a letter to all men who decide to abandon their wives and families in pursuit of “true love”.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]In a church I used to call my church we had an amazing worship leader and awesome pastor. When Will sang presence of Holy Spirit was undeniable and awesome! I felt it and I watched people break down and weep like children. It is not some mysticism, it was just true and real. Then it was followed by Spirit inspired sermon. It was absolutely one of a kind church![/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]Then one day. Out of the blue one Sunday pastor announced that Will is fired for some fast going affair he had with some woman. It did sound somewhat unbelievable but I have seen it before. I know what he fell for.[/SIZE]



[SIZE=medium]Letter to Will[/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]That feeling of instant connection that you felt when you met her, seemingly immediate bond. Like the weight lifted, clouds parted…. You are not the only one to ever experience it. Now let me tell you something about that.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]It is a same old trick played on many over many generations. Those feelings of discontent, dissatisfaction, downright irritation that you may experience in your marriage. Where does it all come from? It comes from the enemy.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]It is so easy and so deviously simple. He does not have to give you anything in order to lead you into an affair, simply stop giving you something he already does! It is just that easy! [/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]All over sudden you feel like you met your sole mate and you belong together.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]Concept of sole mate did not come from Christianity. It came from Greek mythology. Zeus saw people growing stronger and to make them weak he separated them into two genders. This way one is weak and busy looking for the other half of self and even when found afraid to loose it.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]Then there is true love. Just like you have a freedom of choice and you choose to love God you can choose to love your brother the way you supposed to love your brother and you choose to love your wife the way you supposed to love her.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]Love is an emotion but it does not come from feeling, it comes from choice.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]True love is never destructive, it is never a trade for pain of others.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]Now let me make a prediction. Once all bridges are burned, once all chances of reconciliation are gone those old feelings of unhappiness will come back. They will come back to you and to her. It is going to get worse and at the point you are in the gutter she will leave you.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]You abandoned your first love of God for love of a woman but you have to remember that God is a jealous God.[/SIZE]

With respect, may I ask...did he fall for another member of the worship team?
I know how vulnerable one can be when in worship before the throne of God and how spiritually connected members can get within the team. I have been a worship leader for many years and I can tell you some stories. The enemy can take advantage of such spiritual unity and cause members to drop into the flesh/soul, thinking that this connectedness is something else rather than recognizing and understanding that it is actually the Holy Spirit's way of bringing corporate worship together....very much like incense, holy and pleasing to God. That is why it is so important to pray for your worship team because they are in "spiritual warfare" when they are at the front.

[SIZE=medium]It is not so much a letter to a pastor or one person in particular. It is a letter to all who abandon first love for God for, seemingly, true love. Love that feels to be absolutely perfect yet it is so absolutely fake![/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]So many fall for it! My own cousin was a good Christian man baptized with a Holy Spirit and then he fell. He just felt that sole-mate attraction to a woman that brought him down to a gutter. Really bad one, no details.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]Once I had a very close friend. By coincidence we had a same last name, everybody thought that we were brothers. He fell same way. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]Satan can fake love like nobody else can in this world. Only true love is from God. Love to God and love to others that is godly comes from choice not from feelings that can be manipulated by the enemy.[/SIZE]
