Not moving away from the seed:
What is in the seed? everything that is Christ or makes up who Jesus Christ is. The person of Christ is the seed - in that seed is all God is and He gets everything He is looking for from creation by the one seed in many believers.
On a thought here! To simplify and define scripture is to see and understand it two ways.
1) How all of God's plan work's through two people only - the first Adam, and the last Adam. Humanity is in one or the other, they are not dealt with on a individual scale - not in life and death. Only on a personal level - which means you are in the first Adam which is death only or the last Adam which is life only. The only life life is in the last Adam. There is natural breathing life which has nothing to do with life as far as living a lifestyle - there is death life for those who do not believe, and life life (Christ) for the born again believer. For a person to have life they have to be 'in Christ' where the life is. Everything will come from in Christ because that is the way it is planned and works, Ephesians 1:4. Nothing outside of that works, not on a established continual work.
2) Scriptures have to be broke up to determine who God is speaking to such as; is He addressing Israel or is He addressing the church. Paul said that is how you had to study the word of God to understand it - Rightly dividing the word of truth.
Is He addressing law or is He addressing grace. You can see why it is so easy to confuse scripture when they are not rightly divided because we will take what is written for Israel and try to apply it to the church and it doesn't fit - it makes no since and we force it and it still doesn't work but we will stand on it.
The word of God does not have to be forced to make it fit. It has to be understood how it is put together and then studied to see what is written to you. All the word of God is given by inspiration and is profitable for all and so on and it is all FOR us - but it is not all written TO us. We can use it for life application and when you read the Psalms or Proverbs for example you are blessed and can have growth by them get wisdom so on but the only life there is that scripture points to is 'in the Son.'

11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. - 1 John 5:11.
