Is there any Truth in the Bible? If so, All the Bible is True. Hellions take part in Everlasting Punishment, IE Age Enduring Punishment; so the spirit you listened to is a Lying Spirit...
The prime Hermeneutic is, Scripture Alone is the Arbiter of Spiritual Disputes. You may want to challenge the Established Word of God, but there is enough reason to accept that their Punishment is an entire Age comparable to the entire Age of Eternal Life...
Pray Jesus will help you; don't trust that spirit...

I have found over the many years, God has gifted me discernment, which grows as we get closer to God....I just know in my spirit who is open to hearing about God and who isn’t..after speaking with them for a while..

I used to turn on people here, who didn’t agree with my belief, God showed me not to do that.
Many on here turn on me if I don’t agree with their testimony...I get accused of being a Calvinist...

Although, if the testimony of the Spirit never disagreed with scripture I would be taken back. That has not happened to me as of yet.
We are to reject every kind of evil and test all things . 1 Thes 5 How do you test all things? Or don't you test because that came from the bible?
hypotheticals- What if I felt the spirit was telling me that a certain sin was now acceptable for believers - although the scriptures clearly say it is not? (I am NOT speaking about calvinism) Let's say- a sexual sin..
Or- what if I was becoming increasingly agitated and angry with everyone etc- opposed to the fruits of the spirit- should I be concerned?
What if I found myself attacking a fellow believer for exposing a clear false teaching?
Would I say something like- what is truth? "How do you know? Who do you think you are?" (I am NOT speaking about calvinism)! They are our fellow believers in Christ who see something in the scriptures that can be confusing- only their way. While others see it another way. The two need to come together and agree with all scripture by affirming what is very clear first- because it does all agree then.
We should lovingly discuss all of those things. I am deeply saddened over this divsion.
What I am speaking about is- a group who is deceitful about what they really do teach. - They despise Christianity. One that denies the BASIC foundation of our very faith- the love and work of Christ on the cross whose blood paid for our sins.
Would I attack the one who exposes false teachers by telling them they are judging or unloving, and by that I also appear to deny the only Truth which is in Christ and is Christ?
IF so, I may be obeying a deceitful spirit. We are to expose and when we read Paul and Jesus - we see that sometimes it got a little ugly- Does that make any sense to you at all?
I am not here to challenge calvinism. I have noticed that you appear to perhaps be struggling with many things lately.

Yes. Amazing and so undeserved. I cried my eyes out. Everything came together that was missing in my heart. I actually literally cried out, "ABBA Father." in the Spirit! It was such a huge revelation for me. (My story is a bit unusual and very complicated.)
I have a new heart of flesh! I have whole new life in Christ, and of that I am sure. Where before I would have flipped people off, now I care. If you had known me before.. ha
The bible again? - Yep Rita- I do learn from the scriptures and the Spirit has never opposed the scriptures yet! Quite the opposite- the Spirit confirms and clarifies the scriptures deep within me, so that I have no doubt.
Can you tell me why you feel that the Holy Spirit is opposed to the scriptures? Some examples? I think that's a good place to start, do you?
