“As the Emperor Constantine embraced Christianity, it became necessary for him to choose which Bible he would sanction. He preferred the one edited by Eusebius and written by Origen, the outstanding intellectual figure that had combined Christianity with Gnosticism in his philosophy, even as Constantine was himself the political genius that was seeking to unite Christianity with pagan Rome.” –Which Bible, David Otis Fuller, D.D., page 195, first paragraph

This is why the Catholic religion embraces so many anti-Christian doctrines, like the doctrine of “Immaculate Conception”: “the conception of the Virgin Mary in which as decreed in Roman Catholic dogma her soul was preserved free from original sin by divine grace.” –Merriam/Webster Dictionary

And every Bible thereafter is born from that endeavor.

The church invented an eternal firey Hell because fear is one of God's greatest weapons.

And then they proved it did exist by burning its enemies alive on the pyre.

The Lake of Fire, where Hell will be cast, is not intended as a ploy of fear, but of warning for the soul; and we know that most are choosing (ignorantly) to go that way (Mat 7:13, 14).

No, I don't agree it is a human choice when in the domain of a omniscient God who predestined all things before the foundation of the world.

If choice were an option Gods Elect would not be a condition.

He knew most would reject Him; He also knew it would be worth the few who would receive Him!

I think your time in this extensive type of study would be better spent in sowing the seeds of the gospel to a lost and dying world.

Of all the translations I investigateds, most include these passages as footnote and explain why they did not include them in the full text. this is minor because none of the "omissions" do harm to any major doctrine in Scripture.

Omissions are only one of a few problems with the Critical Text (Alexandrian Text types), which conflicts with Christ's Words, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." (Mat 4:4). You would be surprised how many advocates of this text that do not believe in the preservation of the Word of God; and many are attempting to claim that this Critical Text is the Word of God, and not what we have had for 500 years!

One who reads and studies the entire Word has a great advantage in spiritual growth over those who lack the Word and are misled by the way they present many Scriptures. The more the spiritual growth, the more one can be used to draw the lost and strengthen the saved.

Below is a blog from an atheist scholar that freely admits textual variants "it does not matter because there are any fundamental Christian doctrines at stake". I would point out that his atheist spirit is revealed with his added statement that it "should call that belief into question". Sounds a lot like what is being repeated here. Truly a disgusting spirit.

Thank God that all the listed verses are omitted in modern translations. I am appalled by the fact that fundamentalists who have the "highest' view of biblical inspiration are the least invested in the complex task of sorting through the 400,000 Greek variant readings to establish the original NT Word of God as accurately as possible. Since the original KJV translation, 90% of the relevant manuscripts have been discovered for Text Critics to study in a comprehensive effort to recover the original text. Text Critics arrange these manuscripts into families by location, text type, and date. Then they determine, when, why, and how each copy error has crept into the text. They then compare their insights with biblical quotations from the early patristic writers who wrote prior to the manuscript in question. This analysis has led to the identification of several text critical principles:

(1) The most ancient reading is to be preferred unless this can be overruled by principles (2)-(5) below.
(2) The shorter reading is generally to be preferred.
ancient scribes often try to improve on God's Word with clarifying additions. Faced with variant manuscript readings. they often combine variant readings. This common practice is called conflation.
(3) The harder reading is generally to be preferred.
Ancient scribes tend to try to smoothe over perceived textual difficulties.
(4) The reading that best fits the biblical author's style is to be preferred.
(5) The reading that makes the best sense of how the variant readings crept into the text is to be preferred.
