What is key when witnessing? A witness is sharing what you know. It comes across as pushy sometimes maybe or lack of knowing how to handle a person or persons. Handling how you deal with people will be a life long process. Bringing Christ forth in what we do can be a process as well. Having Christ fixed in you by knowledge (soul mind) is key to a witness. What is it we can do at a certain point, you wait watch and see if there is something you can do to bring Christ (literally His life) into a situation for those you witness to. Christ cannot come out unless you know (revelation knowledge is in the scriptures) he is there (in you) and know what he is doing there. I'm thinking of the verse that says "study to show yourself approved of God."
Example: on the job is a favorite example because people spend so much time on a job. Wait and watching; is you watching to see if there is something you can do. Waiting for the right opportunity to bring Christ into a situation. Casual conversation or something more extreme. Point is it is you watching and when you feel you may have something to say you already have a flow of Christ knowledge in you.
We referr to living Christ as a spontaneous reaction in a particular situation. You don't have to pray it up or try to get God to show up, you have a natural reaction to any situation, and you welcome it. Spontaneous life (Christ in you) that has freedom and knowledge to just live life as opportunity arises. Which will more than likely be a daily occurrence.
You can take that as far as possible because it is your life (Christ).
Another example is home life. If married or whatever situation is in the home. A roommate, or you may rent a room out. But the situation you are in is as unique as life itself because the opportunity to live your life presents itself in a different environment.
We have in the ready the life that changes all lives. Relationships are the greatest opportunities to live what you know. When you speak to your wife what kind of ideas are going on in your head? Is it I'm going to try to get a long today, or do you know when you speak to your wife/husband it is Christ coming out of you in that conversation.
It is simple to realize when you have a knock down drag out that it is not Christ. It is easy to recognize that because we know Christ by His fruit. And we all know our selves and the old man syndrome, or unrenewed mind. So that is easy to spot so to say. What we don't realize is when Christ is coming out of you that it is Him. That can be harder to recognize because we are not used to that kind of life, spontaneous living.
The very life of God is lived by your being "in Him I live, and move, and have my being.
