Hebrews 1:9 (NASB20)
“YOU HAVE LOVED RIGHTEOUSNESS AND HATED LAWLESSNESS; THEREFORE GOD, YOUR GOD, HAS ANOINTED YOU WITH THE OIL OF JOY ABOVE YOUR COMPANIONS.”

What truth is being couched in this word of scripture… ?
That if one, any one, loves righteousness, God will anoint that one with the oil of joy…. Though this truth is pointed towards Christ, this principle of truth is for all that would love righteousness…. As this truth is embraced, it is learned that to the degree one walks in righteousness, to that degree will one experience the oil of joy… Henceforth does scripture put forth Christ receives the highest of joys, for He loves righteousness to the uttermost….
For God would have all His people experience joy, but joy can only grow from its proper root, righteousness being that proper root…. As the simplicity of this truth is embraced, loving that which God loves, joy, is the natural fruit of that truth being expressed…. For the doing of righteousness is the doing of God’s will, and the heart’s desire of faith towards righteousness is the fight of faith given to man… For the crown of righteousness is given to one who by faith has fought the good fight and has overcome by believing that the gift of a new life is for them, and by faith that life would be manifested in and through them, that being, the very life of Him who is righteousness Himself being lived through one to the growing of the new creation….
For nothing will satisfy the new creation but the doing of righteousness, for nothing else is the yoke that is light…..
Be blessed in the yoke that is light…
