I read that foreign World Cup soccer fans visiting the United States have stated that they hear the most negative coverage about America on their own domestic European news outlets, rather than on any specific U.S. broadcasting network.

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani released a defiant message in response to the Supreme Court’s ruling on the federal government’s termination of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Syrian and Haitian aliens.

In a 6-3 decision released Thursday, the Supreme Court held that the “TPS statute bars judicial review of non-constitutional claims,” meaning the Department of Homeland Security has the right to proceed in terminating the TPS status of Haitians and Syrians.

Mamdani began his address by invoking “empathy and solidarity with Haitian and Syrian New Yorkers.”

A little over 84,000 foreign-born Haitians resided in New York City as of 2023, according to a 2026 report from the city.

Mamdani continued, claiming the Supreme Court made “a decision that is putting so many people’s lives in jeopardy.”

DHS will send illegal Haitians back, honestly dont know what Mamdani can do to stop that.

Every illegal sent back is one less democratic socialist voter is what I think the DSA fears.

I heard a few democrats saying they are going to split off from the socialists and let them have their own party. Then cut off the democrat funding that they used to get on the democratic ticket.
