Military expert, Boris Rozhin, notes that 122mm shells are used by D-30 Howitzer gun. At the beginning of the special operation Ukrainian military possessed no less than 350 D-30 Howitzer guns and large amount of matching ammunition left from the USSR arsenals. “The Ukrainian military, including the 4th Rapid Reaction Brigade which fought for Gostomel, Bucha and Irpen, use it as a main field piece”, – the expert stated. Same ordinance was used to shell Donbass in 2014.

In the Russian Federation such guns are mostly removed from the inventory and are being stored. They were replaced by Msta-B that shoots 152mm shells.

Anyway, to me it is a subject that is not that significant I believe in the macro and longer range view of events occurring in the Ukraine today.

If the Ukrainian army used these shells, the older USSR ones as I still suspect, on their own people, it is just par for the course. “All photographs and video materials published by the Kiev regime, allegedly showing some kind of "crimes" by Russian military personnel in the town of Bucha, Kiev region, are yet another provocation,” the Russian Ministry of Defense added.

“Moreover, on March 31 the mayor of Bucha, Anatoly Fedoruk, confirmed in his video address that there was no Russian military in the town, but did not even mention any local residents laying shot in the streets with their hands tied,” the military also pointed out.


Graphic footage from Bucha shows multiple bodies in civilian clothing lying in the middle of a street. Some of the dead apparently had their hands tied, while others were white armbands, commonly used by Russian forces and civilians in areas under Russian control.

Kiev has blamed the Bucha killings on Moscow, with Ukrainian foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba claiming it was a "deliberate massacre" by Russian troops.

“The Bucha massacre was deliberate. Russians aim to eliminate as many Ukrainians as they can. We must stop them and kick them out. I demand new, devastating G7 sanctions NOW,” Kuleba wrote on Twitter.

Top Western politicians have backed Kiev’s assessment of Bucha, with some explicitly pinning the blame for the killings on Moscow as well. “Russian authorities will have to answer for these crimes,” French President Emmanuel Macron said.

Russia is not losing their illegal invasion of the Ukraine, but they certainly are not winning!

Multiple sources have verified that once again the Russian offensive has stalled due to the four factors that caused them to retreat from their Kiev Offensive:

1. Low morale
2. Confused command and control
3. Logistics problems
4. Fierce resistance.

If we have to put this war on a bar graph, I would place Russia on the side of losing this war. Why?

1. Putin wants to call it a war so He can institute a draft.
2. This war has cost approx. $3 trillion dollars from Russia.
3. Because resupplies for the UAF are flooding in from multiple areas, Putin has declared all foreign shipments as legitimate targets (which they are in a war)
4. Putin has been pushing the nuke option to scare off NATO helping Ukraine, NOt working.
5. He cannot bring his front line MBT's top the wat. Teh T-90 has limited numbers and the T-14 has not yet officially been received by the armed forces.
6. Lavrov is talking peace negotiations again. They won't go forward. for besides the "denazification myth" and no NATO, He has now added teh demand that the Ukraine accept the present geo-political realities! IOW Russia wants to keep teh Donbas, and south all the way to at leastr the Crimea and possibly to Odessa!

NOw that NATO is pouring in heavy weaponry and Ukraine now has more tanks and Jetes than when Russia began this illegal invasion, there is a glimmer that Ukraine may actually win!
