As married couples it's important to understand the principle that as a man and woman married, you go together to church to receive salvation from The Lord God.
One does not save the other. Although in some marriages it might appear that way. And that can lead to arrogance and false pride, self righteousness also. God saves thru Christ and we are certainly welcome to help, and take part in salvation. In that way we can help in salvation as good Christians do.
It's best to look at it as though you both go and enjoy a friendly community at church. You both become healed in different ways and the couple that are married become better, stronger and more certain as a foundation for service of the lord, including having children and grandchildren.
It's important to remember to stay firm in attending church together. If for some reason you miss church, remember to return.
You stand together as man and woman before the lord in those ways. Including before priests and other servants of God and within the church organization. Angels watch over us too. Sometimes loved ones in heaven care for us unseen and unknown to us, they care also.
Pray to heavenly father for your family. He loves us and desires happiness for us in families, friends and communities.
