that translation is not correct- I dont use my Jw bible anymore. I used it up til about 2000. There are a lot of errors in it. Taking in knowledge about someone and knowing someone are 2 very different things. Agree?

I believe that. ---We need to know the Father and Son for eternal life.

John believed that too-
1 John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.

If we are in Christ we are in the true God. We cant separate them. We cant know the Father without knowing His son. It's impossible.
So, are you saying to know the Father we must be in His Son, Jesus Christ for righteousness?

i dont think taking in knowledge is the same as knowing someone. I can read all day about someone and not know them. So how does taking in knowledge make you righteous?
