Any fellow Christians struggled with mental health issues?. For me I remember them really taking off around 14 and snowballing to what I deal with in my mind 40s. Specifically health anxiety causes greatest, but I'm sure other combos as well.

Yes but I hate going into detail in this space. I've become more private about mine over time. People can be so frustrating.

In my early twenties, I struggled greatly with anxiety, OCD thinking and depression. Through a three-year process, I followed God's way to freedom from these things that He spells out in His word, the Bible, and I've never been in bondage to them since. At the time I was dealing with these issues, I suffered with cluster panic attacks, insomnia, hamster-wheel thinking, swallowing issues, even feeling like I couldn't breathe properly. Without drugs or therapy, God liberated me from this stuff but I had to follow His way, not my own, and I had to reject the World's diagnosis of my condition that made me just a victim of my psychology, without ultimate responsibility for my inner state.

That's great to hear. My mind is so analytical it causes issues in my walk. I've written in the apologetics forum about it. Thank you for sharing.

I struggled with schizophrenia, until I realized "I may be schizophrenic, but I can still be perfect"

I had anxieties and panic attacks and, interestingly, I healed when I stopped dating and began eating keto/carnivore diet.

I am carefully and slowly adding specific plants to my diet, but only one at a time, to be sure they are OK. Caffeine, sugar, pesticides and maybe some other similar plant chemicals seem to have the worst impact on me, when combined with some life stress.

Great! Is Caffeine or sugar leading to worse health issue over anxiety or smiliar problems? I take more coffee a day.

Yes, caffeine worsens anxiety (or even causes it, it can even cause a panic attack, because it may cause irregular heart beat or tachycardia, it worsens sleep etc) and sugar causes various inflammation all over the body, including in brain (which worsens possible psychological issues).

Cacao, coffee, green tea and similar are quite dangerous for sensitive people. I try to drink teas without caffeine and green tea only from time to time.
