What an ordeal and kindness and persistence.

Our pet dog “escaped” unnoticed outside our fence. Routinely he is near us throughout the day. If We don’t see him for awhile, we call, he comes.
Then the day he didn’t come. Searched our woods, buildings, and couldn’t find him. Driving around, checking the nearby highway, and Neighbor hood. No luck.
Our “side of highway, rural”, looking for several hours. Finally stopped at “neighbors” about 1/2 mile from us… Neighbor was sitting on his porch and our dog was there…had a drink, treat and was laying there having a nap!
That was a scary, worrisome few hours. I can imagine how Mike’s owner felt for days.
