'And be found in Him,
not having mine own righteousness,
which is of the law,
but that which is through the faith of Christ,
the righteousness which is of God by faith:'
(Php 3:9)
Hello
@rebuilder 454,
Forgive me, but I have not read your previous entries, so don't know where you are coming from on this. I am not sure that I understand what you are saying here, so my response may not be in line with what you intend.
I can't speak for
@Doug or the Mid Acts doctrine, for I don't know it. I am an Acts 28 dispensationalist, and in some people's eyes, I could be labeled a hyper dispensationalist like Charles Welch of old, who was so called.
Labels are not my concern, I just want to know Christ and be found in Him. What I have learned from the principle of right division (2 Timothy 2:15), has been invaluable, and I am very grateful for it, but it is Christ Himself Who is my goal: not any doctrinal stance, which though helpful, can lead to division if one's eyes are not stayed on things above, on Christ, the Head, from Whom we draw nourishment within the body of Christ.
I am saved by grace, on the basis of the all-sufficient sacrifice of Christ, my Saviour, Lord and Head, and rejoice in Him. and the promise of life, which God has given to all those so blessed: and reach forward for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Phil. 3:14).
Praise His Holy Name!
In Christ Jesus
Chris
