Well I am plain deleting all the details that have been placed in a variety of Christian sites without my consent.

I don't think I will be back ,simply because I prefer going to church ,than having to read some of the bizzare things that are espoused in places like this, lol , but for some it is insightful I guess.

Ok behave all and remember it is better to offer a smile and handshake of kindness, than to instead observe others, with a suspicious frown of contempt .

Hands-on and your heart attached to a real church congregation and Pastor is much more beneficial than online relationships on a forum that we often find difficult to realize. That face to face contact, Holy Spirit filled sermons, warmth, real-time communications, service, hands on prayer and breaking bread with brothers and sisters is what we all miss out on if we think forum chats are a substitute. You have reminded of that, I need to get back to that, find a local church and connect. Thanks.
Wow, you are on the other side of the planet, I'm in Texas, USA. One of my favorite movies is Australia with Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman and that little boy. I am surprised it did not win oscars.

I’m a bit puzzled by how you frame forum discussions as somehow at odds with attending church.

Why does it have to be one or the other? I mean, it’s a bit odd to suggest that posting here and going to church are mutually exclusive. Sure, face-to-face fellowship is special and irreplaceable, but how does engaging in a forum prevent that? Can’t we do both?

Hello @confused...perhaps your user name is a misnomer...?
Did you come here to learn or did your come to confront your confusion?...or do you just want an echo chamber where there is no discussion or debate?

Questions are how we learn if our hearts are open. Go to church if you just want to be spoon fed their “truth”...but there is so much more to Christianity than simply letting someone else feed you what they believe. If you want to be a Christian, then you have to be a student of God’s word....allow it to tell you it’s own truth. It’s not as hard as people make it out to be.

God put us here for a reason, and someone stepped in and derailed his first purpose....separating us from our Creator......he sent Jesus to pay the debt that Adam imposed on us, and he established a kingdom with Jesus and a chosen few, to bring us back to God.
Then what God intended for us at the beginning is given back to us in the end if we are not lazy and expect others to do the digging for the hidden treasure for us.....God didn’t hide it, satan did.

Have you asked God for help? He is the only one who can reveal his truth. (John 6:44; 65)
