Could potentially have to do with the bbcode being on or not. When editing your post, highlight it all and look to the top left corner of your post options. There should be a 'B' in a box that says 'Toggle editing mode' when hovered over. Click that and it should fix your problem, assuming that's what you're talking about.

I had to take out all the brackets individually, and I couldn't see any difference in the B box after I'd clicked it, but, the brackets stayed away!
