Judas NEVER represents ANY kind of follower of Jesus, bbyrd.
I didn't mean to imply that he did, sorry; Judas reps Christian Believers, Zionists, basically Determinists, near as I can tell. Not followers iow definitely, more like those who seek to Lead maybe, those who think God needs help, Missionaries, ppl like that I guess

Are you regularly attending church, bbyrd? You could meet real Christians there (believe me, there are lots of them) who love the Lord Jesus and the Father. True followers of Christ love all of the Father's children as well.
Pardon me if I am suspicious of any mithraist talking about love out of one side while claiming they are saved and born again and going up to heaven after they have died to become immortal out of the other, wadr. No doubt they have some rules for who gets called "the Father's children" too I guess, right. Followers of Christ show love to everyone, even enemies, oops

You are maligning missionaries, bbyrd. I know several and I know them to be sincere in their mission to tell the world about Jesus and establish groups of followers (churches) everywhere they go. That is what we were told to do in Matthew, chapter 28.

No, it is what you decided to interpret from that, with some help from scribes, which does not say that at all. Missionaries talk about love a lot too I guess huh

Being a true follower of Christ is difficult for those who don't have the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit--and many "churchgoers" don't have His indwelling presence. There is a reason why He is called our "Helper". John 1:12 tells us that, all those who believe in Jesus are given the right to become the children of God. Reading the gospel of John in a plain language text is a good place to start in studying the Bible. I think the NLT is a great plain language translation.

once your scribes have got done changing "has faith in" to "believe" at least, yes.
You're busy now testifying of yourself I guess, so I'll let you finish up your sermon here, ty.
Go, and Lead, if that is what you want to do

No, bbyrd--it is what it says. Matthew 28:18-20---> "Jesus came and told his disciples, 'I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. 19Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations,b baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age'.”

And you both think that you do, with your accusations that I'm Catholic, of which by your opinion, you think all of them are lost.

I don't know about Coreissue, but I know RCs who are saved--and many of them are getting pretty restless under the regime set up under Vatican II. There are even those who are pressing to cut ties with Rome. I posted a link to one such website.

I have told you before, bbyrd--you really shouldn't try to make a theology out of one or two isolated lines of Scripture. All of Scripture is "God-breathed"--any "contradiction" is illusory and is our misinterpretation done often in ignorance of what the whole of Scripture teaches. You have a nice Sunday too, bbyrd! :)

Obviously a significant departure from "Go, and invade foreign countries and force your dogma on them at the point of a gun" huh? But hopefully your missionary hypocrite friends will get their day in court too. As defendants.

None of the ones I know fit your description.

I have no leadership role in any church. What has made you so bitter, bbyrd?

Great verse; shows that the Lord Jesus' followers can preach the Gospel with confidence, right? :)
