Wadr to CB, one or two of...these at a time in a um milieu i guess of solid seekers would attract more bees imo than the other way around? If the blind lead the blind, both fall into a ditch, yes? It is commendable to be forgiving and allowing, certainly, to those who don't know any better but are working, taking steps, but it seems as if you guys have deliberately stuffed the board with pompous hypocrites now?

You really think newbies are seeking the same sword fights they can get on...every other board?
Do you need volunteers or money or something?
Will anyone up there even read this?

Bc wadr i have tried to stay pos and ride it out but it sucks ass to come here and read earless idiots post facts at each other as if they know, that generally do not even approach a relevant reply. I mean the atheists are making your believers look bad now even?

Ah...the Catholics got control or something i guess, huh. i'm smelling Noble Rot anyway, maybe
ok, not like you owe me or anything, but sans some address here i'm leaving entirely,
and i don't really see that happening, so best wishes to y'all ok, hope things work out here

Faith and belief are synonymous.
i mean Jesus already guys, look

splain to her how yes, there is one, narrow sense in which they are synonymous, but five broad senses in which they are not, and the discussion on the diff is made several diff ways, multiple passages.
Go 'head, try, and see what you get. You would let this woman presume to teach your children?

bbyrd, you have said that you are going away, apparently in a fit of pique because your odd (and often undecipherable) opinions are not being embraced. Intellectual hair-splitting is what got the RCC into a scholastic pickle and, when carried to extremes, results in the destruction of belief and thus of potential faith.

However, this is still true, despite your protestations: "Abraham believed God, and it was accorded to him as righteousness."

I have already told you, on several occasions, that I do not teach or hold any position of authority in any church. Why are you continuing to make accusations against me, and even worse, trying to enlist others in this current hate that you seem to have for me? I have prayed for you and will continue to do so, as the Holy Spirit brings you to mind.

Genesis 15:6 Lexicon: Then he believed in the LORD; and He reckoned it to him as righteousness.
credited likely a better interp, but at least that is believed there, ya.
tzedek for righteousness tho, of law, and the form of believed, and we haven't noted Abe's complaints yet. Don't get me wrong, believing is a fine first step, for an intro. The form of believe there...leaves a distinct impression of...something done for the first time, a newness, a beginning. The point being it's great but there are more steps on that ladder. That believe is even conditional, of the five beliefs. A virtual babe in Christ would be our analog imo

Babies have a way of growing whether we tell them to grow or not. The Pharisees didn't know about or understand the actions of the Ruach Ha Kodesh, either. (See Jesus' instruction to the Pharisee, Nicodemus in John 3).

Is that some kind of Papal crest, brakelite?

Edited to add: I couldn't see much of the detail before, but clicking on the image enlarges it so that you can see the Papal insignia at the top. Just like with the "snake" auditorium, the Vatican is announcing loud and clear to whom they pledge their allegiance. (It really does look like a snake, by the way.) The Dark Secrets Behind The Pope’s (Giant Reptilian) Audience Hall
That pic is from inside the Vatican, but not sure exactly where. And you are correct, those keys are an integral and vital part of the papal insignia.

Have you ever seen pictures of the vast necropolis under the Vatican? There are ghoulish tableaux with skeletal "grim reaper" figures presiding over the skeletons of even children. There are altars made of human bones and whole walls constructed of human skulls. I saw some of those pictures a number of years ago, but they have apparently been scrubbed--as you can't find them anymore. There are also "chapels" dotted around Rome which are of the same ilk. There are all kinds of bodies in glass cases throughout the Vatican as well. The controversial Paul VI "snake" audience hall has an enormous figure of "Jesus" emerging out of a "nuclear holocaust" right behind the Pope's throne. When one looks at the statue from both of the sides, it looks like Jesus has a snake's head. Why is the RCC in love with death? Is it because the Bible describes death as God's last enemy?

You have made it apparent that you believe that you have nothing to gain by having exchanges with others--or, at least, me.

I would be the last person to think that I am "all knowing" about God's words.
.
I would readily agree to that statement. It is your first statement above that indicates your attitude toward other believers. My patience has worn thin with those who make such hostile statements.
OK then, from one know it all to another, I am not hearing anyone else getting hot under the collar, just because I say I what mean, and I mean what I say.
If you take offense to that, then it sounds like you are too thinned skinned, for views that are contrary to yours.
So here you go, I am posting a quote from a innocent, kind and sweet sounding lady:
"Go suck a lemon--maybe it will sweeten your mood. Faith and belief are synonymous"

Now, I am no defender or believer of the RCC, but in mho,
I think that you have jumped to a false conclusion, because of your slant against the RCC.
.
Honestly, if you understood Catholic Amillennial beliefs, you would understand that the symbolism reveals that the dragon/satan is in the "bottomless pit", in the midst of the Catholic's belief of purgatory or hell. The Pope's hat on top reveals that the RCC is victorious over satan, through Jesus, as the
"Crosses" so depict on the two scrolls, which may be symbolic of God's written words of the OT and NT scriptures.

This is prophecy, not looking back in time. So your demand for great to be used as false.

And of course you're pushing the KJV.

Go to the other thread I pointed out to you before and read about our Bible translation. Educate yourself.
Of course it's prophecy, but beginning when?
Rev. 1[1] The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
.
Now, can we agree that a good percentage of that prophecy is fulfilled, and/or is being fulfilled?
.
The book of Rev. Is highly spiritually symbolic, using man's words describing pictorial images of God's "thoughts and ways", given to John by Jesus. Isa. 55:8-9.
.
Therefore, in order to correctly interpret it, we must allow the Holy Spirit within us, to interpret it for us (John 16:13), and not rush off to the commentaries of "the scholarly learned" teachings of men, and their fleshly, analytical minds. His "ways" take time, because He must work around our logical minds, which is filled with erroneous preconceived thoughts.
.
Secondly, the book of Rev. Is not to be understood in detail, entirely by chronological order.
In fact, most of it is to be viewed/interpreted, in as it were, by clear overlays. Many parts of the book have repetition, of which display greater detail of a singular topic.

As for "pushing the KJV" , I most certainly will, because it is translated from the "Textus Receptus Greek Text", and not the "Westcott and Hort Greek Text", from which all of the newer bible versions are translated from.
In that, you should perceive that Christendom now has "two schools of thought", and as a result it has/is causing much controversy and confusion among the churches.
Satan's plan is to divide and conquer.

I am a sweet lady but I sometimes get a bit sassy when confronted with orneriness from certain people. ;) (But then, not even as sassy as John the Baptist when he called the Jewish religious authorities a "brood of vipers".)
But isn't being " sassy" being ornery?
I have never told you to "go suck a lemon"!
.
I suggest that we all put the invisible, and self protecting "Hatchett" away. It will help us all to be open minded for the Lord's guidance through the scriptures.

We apparently have different definitions of the two words. What I meant by "sassy" was to give a brief retort in rebuke of the rude condescension of another (what I called "orneriness"--and bbyrd is one of the worst in that regard). "Go suck a lemon" was a rather gentle rebuke compared to calling someone a "viper". None of us have all the truth and some don't appear to have any at all--or rather, what they do have is twisted and extended beyond recognition. Bringing a humble attitude to our discussions would help a lot.

Hey, @brakelite! What happened to the close-up of that papal dragon crest that you posted? Did you notice the "dead woman" under the crest? Wonder what THAT was about? It is made to seem like some kind of pix of birds or something--but when you pull back from it--it is clearly the head of a dead woman ("she's" gray and looks like she has Xs over her eyes) with some kind of wreath around her head. I don't think it is an "accident" any more than the Paul VI Audience hall's "snakiness" is "accidental." Who is that woman supposed to be? The Whore of Babylon or the "woman of Revelation 12" (Israel)? The Vatican has a long-standing enmity toward the Jews and is determined to acquire Jerusalem.
