You might want to include Hebrew Sages and Rabbinical writings considering the Hebrews are the ones who have been maintaining the Torah, their system of belief, since Moses. And have grieved and gleaned it for everything they can for understanding and wisdom. Some very prominent sages like Rashi can be way out there as far as the convert view of the Lord God is. I’ve had converted Rabbis tell me Rashi is no good for the convert. But some of these sages and Rabbis have comments in the Stone Edition of the Torah which from my understanding is a reputable edition of the Torah. And some are online.
Rashbam
radak
sforno
berachos
r’gedaliah schorr
just to name a few, the reason its better then gentile writings other than maybe the Christian view which in many cases is way off base when it comes to what things and names and events meant. The sages don’t necessarily always write with religious over tones, and many were just examining the historical facts with the fact of the Lord their God in view.
