Praying.
I knew someone who was in their own situation similar to yours.
They motivated themselves and held to their resolve to move on and out of their situation by taking a picture of the house they wanted to buy and taped it on the wall in their bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen.
This way they'd have that reminder in their face in the busiest rooms of their home.
They wanted to get the paralegal post they'd applied for in order to afford the house. So they printed off a picture found on Google images of an office they liked and imagined that as like the one they'd have
when they got the job.
Thinking positively, and reiterating their thoughts in the present tense,as if they had accomplished their goals.
Same with her own car. Went to a dealership and obtained a picture and brochure of the one she wanted. She even took a piece of paper and printed on it FREEDOM. And then taped it to the front of the car in the picture. Her future vanity license tag.
She created this near mural in those three rooms where images of her dreams, plans, of independence faced her day and night. And she worked to achieve those. Imagining as she worked that she was working a second job to that of a paralegal.
Focus and visualization.
A little over three years later she signed on her house. Drove to the bank in a newer year model of the same car she had obtained the brochure for. And paid for all of that having obtained a paralegal post with one of the largest law firms in a city 50 miles from where she began her dreams.
I am certain in no time we'll read your new thread celebrating your having achieved yours. :)
