Coming from over the ditch it still troubles me to pronounce them correctly, even though the spelling etc seems so much simpler than Maori.
My so called accent doesn't help either...still have to repeat myself several times to Oz phone receptionists etc. But as APAK would tell you, kiwis don't have accents...everyone else does.

When I was across the ditch, my family was watching the News on TV and this reporter said, Yes ! We all burst out laughing so hard !
