In the past 27 years my wife and I have travelled the world speaking in YWAM schools, Mission’s conferences, Bible schools and local churches. During that time we have seen dozens of healing miracles, cast out hundreds of demons out of unbelievers, Christians, Pastors and Bishops and had an amazing time, glory to God.The biggest surprise in our lives has been since we moved to Canada in 2005 only to discover that:1. The majority of Christians have only been told half the Gospel2. That we have no Demons here in Canada (so they us)3. And that religion dressed up as Christianity has deceived the massesWell that's what we have been told by dozens of supposed Bible believing Christians here in the Bible belt of Canada. The corporate unbelief in this nation is close to epidemic status. The question is can a Christian have a demon?, BUT the real question is can a demon have a Christian? If a demon can’t have a Christian then how do you explain that:1. Sickness is just as rampant in the Church as it is in the world2. Christian men are just as committed to pornography as men in the world3. Christian women have just as many anxiety and fear issues as women in the world4. Greed and covetness is just as a big a problem in the Church as it is in the worldI put it to you that if all these things can be changed by making right choices then all we need to do is stop sinning. But that’s not what the Bible teaches. If we can stop sinning on our own we don’t need God and Christ died in vain1 Tim 1:7 For God did NOT give us a spirit of fear but of power and love and a sound mind.If God didn’t give us fear then where does it come from?????It’s time to wake up Church.JESUS IS THE SAME YESTERDAY TODAY AND FOREVER.

Sickness is just as bad in the Church as it is in the world2. Christian men are just as committed to pornography as men in the world3. I don't know what circles you travel in, but as a Canadian Christian I have to disagree with all of your assertions about Christianity here. I attend an evangelical Presbyterian church. They are considered to be God's frozen chosen and I can only say, that the Holy Spirit is alive and well.I am a member of the Dunamis Fellowship of Canada and is associated with PRMI, Presbyterian-Reformed Ministries International in North Carolina. It is dedicated to the person and work of the Holy Spirit. There are courses, workshops and retreats across Canada and the globe. Some of the most spirit filled churches in the world are in Canada, especially in Toronto. The Toronto Airport Fellowship, 100 Huntley Street and many other ministries counter what you say.You can make sweeping generalisations about any country, but if they are based on isolated experience and a small sample then they are apt to be untrue. Yes, there are churches like the ones you have experienced. But they exist everywhere. Lots of American churches also believe the signs, wonders and gifts of the Holy Spirit ceased with the close of the canon. The believe that the Holy Spirit just inspires us to understand the word of God. Some Reformed churches and Baptist churches have this worldview, for example. It all depends on what you want. There are churches of every imaginable stripe in Canada, but to paint them all with your broad brush is to do the church a disservice and to unfairly represent my church and thousands of others. The church is wakened. I suggest that you seek another church community.

Thanks for the advice. I can only assume from your comments that you have had a global exposure to the body of Christ as we have. Clearly God is at work and the HS is at move in may places, however the general picture of Christianity here in Canada dry, religious and controling.God bless you my brother, keep going for it.
