The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came , and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven. 2 He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say , It will be fair weather: for the sky is red . 3 And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring . O ye hypocrites, ye can discern * the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times? Nothing has change in 2000 years has it?

In Old Testament times, God rose up prophets to tell of coming calamity. Today, He offers warning of impending judgment through the Scriptures (we can know the season, not the precise time) of certain signs and events, and through the words of the watchmen that He establishes; spiritually sensitive people tasked with understanding and relaying Bible prophecy.
Be warned, not all who claim to be watchmen, are. Ego and monetary gain has put more people into the prophecy field than God has. In TV pulpits too, for that matter.
A couple of more things about judgment. It comes swiftly and unexpectedly. Most people don’t heed the warning signs (they’re oblivious) and are taken unaware. The deceived and wicked have no discernment.
“And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness” (2 Thessalonians 2:11-12).

All you are doing is making others even more weary of just another version of interpretation of text that has been around for thousands of years. Any believer knows the day of the Lord will come and the Lord Jesus tells use in the blink of an eye. How to do ready for that? Could it be, walk with the Lord now, and that issue is none worrisome. The ones who should worry are the ones who don’t believe and don’t walk with the Lord. But they don’t worry because they have a false sense of security until the moment comes. Then they will believe when it’s to late.
