I've read the Bible and already know this.Matthew 4
The Temptation of Jesus
4 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. 2 And after fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. 3 And the tempter came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become loaves of bread.” 4 But he answered, “It is written,
“‘Man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”
5 Then the devil took him to the holy city and set him on the pinnacle of the temple 6 and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written,
“‘He will command his angels concerning you,’
and
“‘On their hands they will bear you up,
lest you strike your foot against a stone.’”
7 Jesus said to him, “Again it is written, ‘You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.’” 8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said to him, “All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me.” 10 Then Jesus said to him, “Be gone, Satan! For it is written,
“‘You shall worship the Lord your God
and him only shall you serve.’”
11 Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and were ministering to him.
No, humans are tempted by;Are human beings tempted exclusively by demons?
You know where I'm going with this right?

Indeed. For what it's worth, I'm tempted to eat a donut right now.![]()
No you are smart, just think outside of your beliefs. Please for me.No, humans are tempted by;
1. The arm of their own uncrucified flesh.
2. The lust of the world—(lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, pride of life)
3. Generational curses.
No... I'm not very smart.![]()
I've read the Bible and already know this.
However: Are human beings tempted exclusively by demons?
You know where I'm going with this right?
| Deut 6:16 Ye shall not tempt the LORD your God, as ye tempted him in Massah.
The devil tempting Jesus to do the same, to which he responds, Mat 4:7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. |
This going to be tough. I've always known God.No you are smart, just think outside of your beliefs. Please for me.

That's not the same thing.Men can be tempted to tempt God as the tempter was tempting Jesus to do in the wilderness
Here it says they tempted the LORD here
Deut 6:16
Ye shall not tempt the LORD your God, as ye tempted him in Massah.
- Massah = "temptation"
- the place in the wilderness where the Israelites testedJehovah
- also 'Meribah'
The devil tempting Jesus to do the same, to which he responds,
Mat 4:7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
That's not the same thing.
There was the serpent (who is Satan and the devil) and there were his children and it says hereSo I wake up this morning on the streets as usual from a series of strange dreams, and the first thought that comes to mind is this one question: Jesus was tempted by who?
I guess the same thing Eve was tempted by...So I wake up this morning on the streets as usual from a series of strange dreams, and the first thought that comes to mind is this one question: Jesus was tempted by who?
My opinion about that is Eve was tempted by belief itself. Since before knowing what a good or evil decision was she could only believe what the serpent told her. It's exactly what we see played around the world today, and no, there is no true belief to believe in.I guess the same thing Eve was tempted by...
If he "experienced sin" (if by that you mean) actually sinning, he did not. Although, had he have sinned he would not be our Savior who was without sin.Alrighty: What I'm trying to convey is that Jesus couldn't be tempted by sin nature in the conventional way we do. Him being tempted at all points could only come from a outside force such as demon's or other people, but that's still not the full experience of sin.

Prior to that, she believed what God told her, yet she still took the word of Satan over the Lord. What it shows is that we have a free will to either believe or not believe. However, one was a command that came with a penalty, while the other offered benefits to self. But the fall in Christian terminology is caused by believing. We still wouldn't actually know what good and evil is, we can only believe what we believe, the very thing YAHWEH said do not do.Interesting thoughts.Prior to that, she believed what God told her, yet she still took the word of Satan over the Lord. No, the fall was caused by disobedience to God's command, which states: Genesis 3But the fall in Christian terminology is caused by believing. We still wouldn't actually know what good and evil is, we can only believe what we believe, the very thing YAHWEH said do not do.
