From that same source...

Daniel 9:27And one week shall establish the covenant with many: and in the midst of the week my sacrifice and drink-offering shall be taken away: and on the temple shall be the abomination of desolations; and at the end of time an end shall be put to the desolation.

Jesus established His covenant with many. In the midst of the week (the 3rd year of His public service), He was crucified and rose from the dead. Old Jewish system of sacrifices ceased. The temple was desolated ad the end of the time (the time being the 490 years left for Israel since the decree till the coming of Jesus - the end of the Jewish age).

From that same site...

"During the summer of 70, the Romans breached the walls of Jerusalem, and initiated an orgy of violence and destruction. Shortly thereafter, they destroyed the Second Temple. This was the final and most devastating Roman blow against Judea."

The Romans destroyed the temple, not the Jews.

The grammar of Daniel 9:26-27 is that the prince that shall come will confirm the covenant for one week (7years). Neither of those refer to Jesus, nor the new covenant.

Also you fail to recognize that Ezekiel 39 has Jesus speaking in the text of Ezekiel 39:21-29, 7 years after the Gog/Magog event of the latter years, latter days.

You also fail to recognize the 15 time of the end time frames. All of which fit within the 7 years.

From the site, the Romans destroyed infrastructure and inhabitants, and the Jews destroyed inhabitants.

You're still ignoring the grammar in Daniel 9:25-27, which is unsurprising, as it destroys dispensationalized delusion.

Messiah the Prince confirmed His New Covenant in the fulfilled undecapitated determined 70th week.

A generation later, In 70 AD, He used both Romans and Jews as His people to accomplish His purposes of judgment and destruction upon Jerusalem.

All of the above consistent with Scripture, history, and grammar.

No, at the end of time does not mean at the end of what you are calling the Jewish age. The Jews have come out of the nations back to land of Israel, following WWII, and the nation of Israel was re-established on May 14, 1948, fulfilling Isaiah 66:7-8 a nation born in a day.

The abomination of desolation in Daniel 12:11-12 will be setup at the time of the end. 1290 days and 1335 days are involved. Time of the end time frames, as shown on my chart.

Jesus in Matthew 24:32-34 gave the parable of the fig tree generation - a generation that would not pass away without witnessing His return. 1967 the Jews regained control of Jerusalem (the fig tree, based on
Matthew 21:19). 70 years for a generation, Psalms 90:10, and the result is that Jesus will return not later than the end of 2037.

7 years prior to 2037, the 70th week of Daniel 9:27, will begin at the latest. And will follow the Gog/Magog event of Ezekiel 38-39, to take place in the latter years, latter days. Ezekiel 39:9 and Ezekiel 39:12 shown on my chart below.

There are many misinterpretations of Daniel 9, people come up with. Saying that Jesus used Titus to destroy Jerusalem and the temple (which, Jesus called His Father's house) is one of them.
Matthew 23
38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.

Whom did Jesus use to desolate Jerusalem and the temple?
In all of the translations of Daniel 9 though, the 70th week of Daniel 9 is addressed as its own unit.
So are the previous 69.
The 70th week is still unfulfilled.
Yours is.

Thank God, Messiah's isn't.

Daniel understood determined.

Of the more than 50 English Bible versions, which other one(s) translate to "at the end of time"?

Jesus is not the one who made Jerusalem and the temple desolate in 70 AD.

The 70th week of Daniel 9:27 will follow the Gog/Magog event of Ezekiel 39.

So they desolated themselves all by themselves?

They are not pictures, but charts and tables.

Based on scriptures. Which apparently you have no answer for.

The Romans destroyed the city and temple in 70 AD.
The Romans were under the command and control of Messiah, the "He" who made Jerusalem desolate in Daniel 9:27.

Titus himself acknowledged God's assistance. Did you miss that in post 513? Here it is again:

"We have certainly had God for our assistant in this war, and it was no other than God who ejected the Jews out of these fortifications; for what could the hands of men or any machines do towards overthrowing these towers?"

The bible does not say that the messiah directed the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple.

You are making quotes from a source that cannot be validated of what Titus said.

It would not even make sense if Titus acknowledged the God of Israel that Titus would destroy the temple dedicated for the worship of the God of Israel.

The 70th week is still unfulfilled and the 15 time of the end time frames of events will fit within the forthcoming 70th week.

Titus credited God. You don't.

I believe Titus.

So exhume and excoriate Titus.

"determined" does not mean fulfilled.

You cannot account for the 15 time of the end time frames of events... that are still unfulfilled. Including Ezekiel 38 and 39, the 7 years that will follow the destruction of Gog's army.

If there is no fulfillment, there is nothing which has been determined.

But the 70 weeks are fulfillled, and thus are also determined.

The remainder of your post consists of your personal private opinions, conjectures, presumptions, and speculations. Unless you can show at least some support for them in historical orthodox Christian doctrine, I have no interest in them.

The dictionary definition for "determined" is - having made a firm decision and being resolved not to change it.

The 70th week will be fulfilled in the future.

The 15 time of the end time frames of events given in the bible are for time of the end - not something that has happened in the past.

You are posting in this "eschatology and prophecy" forum. Eschatology is the study of the end times.

The Scriptural definition for "determined" in Daniel 9:24 is "cut off". You should use Scriptural rather than temporal definitions.

V‑Nifal‑Perf‑3ms

The 70 weeks were "cut off" in the 70th week when Messiah perfectly and completely fulfilled Daniel 9:24's accomplishments at Calvary.
The 70th week will be fulfilled in the future.
The 70th week is forever fulfilled by Messiah's perfect and complete accomplishments at Calvary.
The 15 time of the end time frames of events given in the bible are for time of the end - not something that has happened in the past.

Daniel 9:24 is fulfilled prophecy.

No, the text says that the messiah would be "cut off", i.e. put to death.

26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
