No, the text says that the messiah would be "cut off", i.e. put to death.

26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
You obviously didn't follow the links I posted.

The Scriptural definition for "determined" in Daniel 9:24 is "cut off". You should use Scriptural rather than temporal definitions.

No, "neh-tak" is the phrase for "are determined"in Daniel 9:24. 70 weeks are determined.

2 verses later, the messiah cutoff is in Daniel 9:26. And "yik·kā·rêṯ " is the phrase for "cutoff".

Your mouse is crippled.

"To cut off" is the proper definition in OT Hebrew.

Strong's Exhaustive Concordance
determine
A primitive root; properly, to cut off, i.e. (figuratively) to decree -- determine.
Topical Lexicon
Divine Delimitation of Time
Daniel 9:24 employs חָתַךְ to announce that a specific span—“Seventy weeks are decreed for your people and your holy city” (Daniel 9:24)—has been precisely carved out of history by God.

That's "span", not "spans", which you attempt to impose on the prophecy with your decapitated 70th week.

It does not say messiah cut off in Daniel 9:24.

Aren't these speaking of the same things, to confirm anything between them better?

Daniel 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself

John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away

Isaiah 53:8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

Romans 9:28 For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work
will the Lord make upon the earth.

Here is a cut it short verse as it pertains to a short work he would finish on earth, we can squeeze that
bad boy in there someones.
