"There is absolutely nothing that can be done to contain this virus other than protecting older, more vulnerable people," he said. "It should be thought of as nothing other than a bad flu season," said Hodkinson. "This is not ebola. It's not SARS."

The reaction to the coronavirus is "politics playing medicine, and that's a very dangerous game." "There is no action of any kind needed other than what happened last year when we got unwell," he said. "We stayed home, we took chicken noodle soup, we didn’t visit granny, and we decided when we would return to work. We didn’t need anyone to tell us."

"The scale of the response that you are undertaking with no evidence for it is utterly ridiculous given the consequences of acting in a way that you’re proposing." He pointed to "all kinds of suicides, business closures, funerals, weddings, etc., etc." "It's simply outrageous," he said. "It's just another bad flu and you’ve gotta get your minds around that." The physician called for people to "make their own decisions."

We had far tougher restrictions here in Victoria during the peak of the 2nd wave here, but Victoria has pretty much gotten over it now, with something like 21 days of 0 new cases in a row and only 3 total active cases.

Masks are still mandatory but I am not fussed, I don't mind wearing a mask.

Look I'm one that believed this virus is real and I also believe it kills.

It may be debatable how many because we have seen number manipulation. What we don't know us how much. And there is increasing evidence right in front of our eyes that masks and shutdowns haven't been effective in stopping this.

But I'm also not going to be one of those people who refuses to wear a mask. Because I care about others. I don't want my fellow Americans to view me as a believer as detrimental to their health. Maybe my mask does absolutely nothing. But if they feel like I am being a jackass for not wearing one, well it's no skin off my nose if I do. It doesn't really harm me, and if it makes them feel better I will.

If the masks really work and social distancing really work, why are we seeing a spike? A reasonable person would admit its not really effective.

I for one am not saying the Covid virus is not real. It is a flu virus that mutated from the former SARS virus. However, we know that the number of deaths attributed to Covid-19 are not factual. Nor are the number of positive tests for Covid-19 accurate.

It is those discrepancies in the facts that give me and others pause. If Covid 19 is so lethal why lie about the death toll numbers? Why lie about the number of positive tests? All by the way generated through the offices of government entities and allegedly trustworthy pharmacy interests. The lies about numbers of death is attributed to the directive issued months ago by The Department of Health and Human Services.

And further, those who die of Covid 19 are like unto pariah of the black plague. For instance, Judge Jeanine Pirro, recently suspended from Fox news for her observations of voter fraud in this last election, went public months ago about the aftermath of death due to Covid 19.
A friend of hers husband was listed on his death certificate as having died of Covid19. He had not. However, the mortuary refused to give him a typical casket burial and insisted on a hermetically sealed casket that ran the widow in the neighborhood of $20 thousand dollars!
That's exploitative to say the least when others are buried the usual way.

This. This make the whole thing false. A doctor was taking care of non covid patients in non covid ward, he made his rounds and went home for the night. The Doctor came back the next day and every patient had covid on their charts. He was livid and went to the Hospital Administrator and he told the Doctor "I authorized it for the extra money" and the Doctor yelled at the Administrator and the Administrator almost choked the Doctor and fired him on the spot. Herd immunity should not be underestimated.

Also, virus mutate. A vaccine does not cure the flu. A vaccine is the product of a known flu virus, a purified serum, that injected into a patient causes the immune system to build antibodies to fight against that particular strain. This does not mean that patient will never get a flu again. It means their immune system is prepared to fight against that particular strain that was in the flu shot itself.

With all the conflict surrounding Covid-19, the false numbers of attributable deaths, the false number of positive tests, any mandate for the Covid 19 vaccine (pending vaccine) should be met with skepticism.
