You boys ought to not say bad things about Obama. We are told to pray for our leaders, not put them down. prayer works. I may not like what the man does, but God never asked me what I liked.
By calling Obama a Viper, then I must not believe my prayer for his administration that Obama will choose what God would have chosen, and do what God wants him to do. I can't have faith for both. God, is changing things and is involved, or it's not working and Obama is a viper. Considering the circumstances, I think I want God involved.
Just so you mighty men and women of God know. It is the Obama administration that is going to Appeal the federal judges decision to get rid of national prayer day. Prayer does work.

Praying for our leaders is one matter. Criticizing them for their decision making or the path they take the country down is another matter.
Well, I guess I just look at the best, hope the best. Just because I don't like what someone is doing, is not going to move me to speak evil of them. I have to consider why I am upset at them, and remember where I was at years ago, a drunk and in Prison...Looking back, though my family gave up on me, some Good Christian brothers stood in for me.
If someone is confused, then bless God they are confused. Prayer will get the enemy off them.

You do have the right attitude Brother Mike and and you made valid points. but it just seems that no matter how much prayer is dire3cted at politicians these days, they simply continue to advance policies that seem to accelerate the demise of this nation. And it seems that reverence and respect is shown more to other religions than Christianity by our politicians. I personally just get tired of seeing the same politicians pontificate about their faith during election time and then forget all about it once they get elected. And for the record, I consider myself as close to nonpartisan as you can get these days. I'm absolutely disgusted with what both parties have done as far as running the country and advancing the "godless" agenda in thsi nation. But I'll do you one better, tonight as I wrap myslef in my tallit, I'll make sure to pray fro Obama.

that's a pretty rash statement.. i don't think that you are presenting it with a true christian attitude.. do you just say what you like about anyone that doesn't suit your expectation.. if what you are saying is warrented. then it will become manifest and thus become the destruction of the man.. but don't be the one that utters accusations against anyone.. even michael when quarelling over the body of moses didn't utter any accusations against the devil.. doesn't it hurt you when a man is misguided?.. if he in fact is.. wouldn't you rather not say a thing against the man.. don't you understand that his error is the shame of everyone that is close to that person.. shame to the great nation that appointed him.. rather ask the Lord to give him the guidance and wisdom to rule justly.. and also pray to the Lord that you might have a forgiving and more accepting heart.. remember, we are all God's creation.. so, now that you are aware that it is wrong. just put it behind you.. i hope that you take this in a positive spirit as it genuinely hurts me to see one of my own heading in the wrong direction.. it's not good for any of us..

The Lord instructs us to question everything and to not judge by mere appearances, but to make a right judgment. Every tree shall be known by it's fruit. A bad tree can not produce good fruit, and likewise a good tree will not produce bad fruit.

Recently Mr. Obama stood up and declared the right of Muslims to pray (according to the Constitution).

The Hebrew word "many" here actually means vast multitudes of people, or millions, not a handful of Middle East countries. So a thorough Word study of Daniel 9:27 reveals NOTHING ABOUT ANY TREATY, NOTHING ABOUT ANY PEACE AGREEMENT, NOTHING ABOUT ISRAEL, AND NOTHING ABOUT A HANDFUL OF MIDDLE EAST COUNTRIES (NOT EVEN A HINT OF ANY OF THAT).
Can you name me one peace treaty that is only supposed to last for a certain amount of time? A pre-set condition of a determined length of time, such as 7 years, is unheard of, but Christians swallow it up, because that is what so-and-so teaches, this is their PRE-CONCEIVED IDEA,. or because that is what they read someplace.
(Well, at the 1st Coming of Jesus, most everybody missed it because they did not correctly interpret the Scriptures. What the Scribes and Pharisees were teaching them, supposedly from Scripture, about the Messiah did not fit what they thought was the Biblical description of the Messiah, so He was rejected by the vast multitude at His 1st Coming.)
"For one week" does mean 7 Jewish years, or 2520 days. What this verse is teaching us is that the confirming of the covenant will comprise one Sabbatical week, and culminate at the end of that Sabbatical week. Not only is Sept. 23, 2015, the end of a Sabbatical week, but it is the end of a Jubilee cycle of 49 years. So a year like 2015 comes along only once every 49 years.
Most Biblical watchmen accept June 6--7, 1967, as the budding of the fig tree, the day that Israel re-captured Jerusalem in the Six Day War. This is the date that thrust the world into the last generation. 7 times 7, or one Jubilee cycle, times 360 days, representing a Jewish year, added to this date of June 6--7, takes us EXACTLY to Feast of Atonement, Sept. 23, 2015!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have the signs in the Heavens that the Lord referred to with the lunar and solar eclipses pointing us to this day also.
But if you back up 2520 days from this last day of the 70th Week of Daniel, you arrive at Oct. 29, 2008, EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can call that another coincidence if you like. But if the calculations are ALL there, the signs in the Heavens are there, the correct Feast Day is there, maybe, just maybe we should look at that day of Oct. 29, 2008, to see if there was anything resembling the confirming of a covenant by a very strong candidate to be the Antichrist on that very day. And that's it!!!! the covenant is the 30-minute-info-commercial delivered by Barack Obama who confirmed, strengthened, re-affirmed, summarized his platform, his promises, to be of one mind and to all come together or his COVENANT with the people.
We also had 3 striking warnings from the Lord. All the 3 warnings took place on notable days.
