A nice guy yesterday talked to me as if it were a new revelation, that way back when, things were deleted from the KJV so that the big boys in power in the early church could better control the masses (of peasants).I said, I've known about this idea since the 70s.He particularly -as to be expected - said, like the idea of re-incarnation.I said, I know because if the masses thought they could have another go around -they might not behave "now". He got so excited that I understood before he even said it. (I think they forgot to take out quite a few references, because they are still glaringly there. So, they must have been pretty obvious, if this really took place.) And if they did - does it mean anything changes the rest as true? Those darn Kings, they'll do anything, can't trust a one....What do you all think?Miss Hepburn

Not only do I strongly disagree with this ridiculous idea I say its the exact opposite many other versions add things and change his Words. Most every version is based at least in part on the KJV

What bothers me most is that even if we had the exact perfect , original scriptures , there are still way too many people who would use them completely out of context and in error.I am talking about Christians , not the secular world.Yet those same folks will be quick to point out tiny differences in various translations.Think about it.ThanksMartin

We do have some original manuscripts we also have the dead sea scrolls though thousands of years older than KJV they match nearly word for word Do you know there are verses in KJV where God embeded acrostics that spell out his name among other things front ward and backwards so the verse could not be changed. You can take every word of KJV back to the original Hebrew and greek to find out what God was really saying ....

Is that in The Bible Code? I was surprised to see Jewish Rabbis and scholars on a Jewish broadcast speak excitedly about The Bible Code. Thanks
