On Faith and Works

[Behold]

“You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.

Notice that James is talking about having FAITH, in front of other people.

James says....."I'll show YOU my faith".........>He does not say, "illl show GOD my faith'.

See that ??????

So, this is simply bearing fruit in front of other people........as God sees the Heart, and you dont have to show Him anything.
He already knows...all about you, inside and out.
But regarding other people.......we are to let our light shine....so that THEY can see US as having faith.

Being a new creation in Christ signifies a transformation. Our previous moral and spiritual condition has passed away and our new life in Christ has begun through spiritual awakening that brings a new life. Do you see no difference between being born again and not being born again?

I'm not arguing with God. There is a difference between doing the will of the Father in order to become saved: John 6:40 - For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.

doing the will of the Father after we have been saved: 1 Thessalonians 5:14 - Now we exhort you, brethren, warn those who are unruly, comfort the fainthearted, uphold the weak, be patient with all. 15 See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all. 16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

I'm not arguing with God. There is a difference between doing the will of the Father in order to become saved: John 6:40 - For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.

So then works are necessary. Great. You want to claim those who don't do the works (will) of the father aren't "really" christians. Doing the will of the father is a choice, if not then we can't be judged on them yet scripture is full of examples of people being judged for their behavior or lack thereof.

The contradiction is placed there by works-salvationists. Faith in Jesus Christ is sufficient for salvation because the object of our faith (Christ's finished work of redemption) is sufficient and complete to save believers. (Romans 3:22-26) No supplements needed. To reject faith in Jesus Christ as sufficient for salvation is to reject the object of our faith (Christ's finished work of redemption) as sufficient for salvation.

Bingo . many have much works
but remember that works without faith is ONLY DEATH .
Its based soley on DOES ONE HAVE FAITH IN CHRIST .
And if one truly does , OH HE WILL WORK IN THEM the works pleasing to GOD .
As even paul would say
HE who provides NOT , a work , for His own and specially those of his own household
HAS DENIED THE FAITH .
FAITH . but what is FAITH .
Abraham had it . so lets examine true faith .
GOD SPOKE , ABRAHAM BELEIVED
and abraham DID . its all tied together .
TRUTH .
ALL ONE NEEDS TO DO IS HAVE FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST .

many can claim to but its darn obvious they beleive in twisted words of another jesus that contradicts THE WORDS of JESUS .
