Prediction is by 2026, robots will be smarter than people.
That is not a hard prediction to make though, as most people are not very smart, and a net connected and interlinked robot has access to the information web.

I am reading traffic lights may add a 4th color light to the signals if self-driving cars become common. If the white light is on, the AI driven interlinked cars will control traffic intersection flow.

Each car will be fully aware of all the other cars intentions.

Ai is still just a tool....
It can help with complicated tasks....but it can't initiate them or have inspiration.

AI still has issues with metaphors and idioms of speech. Language is living. Meaning that terms and words develop over time.

The biggest crying is from middle management (who does the least work) who bridges between the workers who produce and upper management who directs the work.

In every large business, 80/20 is still looming large. 80% of the work that provides the biggest profits and market gains is performed by 20% of the workforce.
The other 80% of the workforce is dead weight but gets ahead by schmoozing upper management and really doesn't know how to do their jobs.
AI will remove that 80% who have gotten by on shallow flattery for years. Decades even. But when push comes to shove....they are gone.

The other part of AI is the pay disparity. Top 1% makes 20-40× the pay of the workforce. That will get fixed. Very unsettling for most upper management.

AI is definitely restructuring everything.
My interactions with AI have been exactly that, a knowledge tool, and to bounce project ideas on it, see what it can come up with for ideas.
I am still in control of what I do with the information.

John 14:
[12] Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

Good Works Jesus Did / Does…
Good works man did / does…

BEWARE

IS ALWAYS…
* IN the Evil “Devils”…
* IN the Wicked “mans”
FOREFRONT

TO: Twist, use, project, advocate, encourage, FOR Evil and Wickedness, THROUGH cunning, ear-tickling, deceit and lies.

Gen 2:
[17] But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Gen.3
[3] But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
[4] And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

Yeah, I can see why people don't like it....

But when information is uploaded it can process that information well.

The problem exists when that information is proprietary.....AI will keep it in its database and give it away for free.
AI still can't do manual tasks....even with robots.

A robot worker costs roughly $9k and runs for 2 hrs on a charge and then needs 4 to recharge. However, the maximum it can lift or move is 12 pounds. (5.5 kg)
These can be directed by an AI. And Tesla automobiles are made by them in what is considered a blackout/dark factory (lights aren't needed)

However, they still can't do regular construction. Still need people to drive and operate heavy equipment, run conduit, pull wire, and make terminations. And in most instances....12 lbs of force won't cut it.

The creepy part is digital Identification being required for daily life. Such as purchasing groceries or gas or anything.

You go to work regularly but then you can't make payments to your mortgage or buy groceries

Then you are homeless and starving

I almost never pay cash for anything. I do write a check for the marina fee, as they would want more if I used a credit card.

I have an old 1970 wooden Eggharbor 37 foot cruiser. And I have it on the hard stands and been working on the bottom for a year.
It may take me another 6 months to get it back in the water. It really has little value except to me.

Make it into a houseboat, push out to sea, and live off all the fish you catch.

Free house, free food and no real estate taxes.

It is big enough two people could live on it.
It has an apartment fridge, a shower, bath, head, kitchen with microwave, heat and AC and a 6500 watt generator.
I am awful bad fisherman, I would starve.

I know the hype....but construction work is heavy labor that requires creativity for workarounds constantly. More weight than a robot can lift and move and needing more creativity than their flat stories published everywhere.

Not going to work if they institute digital Identification. Your paychecks won't cash and you won't be able to write a check either.

Won't be able to pay the taxes on your house, boat, or much of anything. Won't be able to buy groceries either where they have digital ID.

People have already died in India where they have demanded digital ID. In the UK people go to jail for Facebook posts or having their car go down a street....not breaking any laws but just the fact that it burns gasoline is crime enough.

This digital ID administrated by AI is the worst thing that can ever happen to a citizenry.
Many horror stories about average people who don't do anything but exist, finding themselves run afoul of the system that controls their life. They didn't post anything on social media but somehow the computer system makes them out to be a "person of interest" and cuts off their access to live.

You cant be that bad, sheesh, its just a line and some food on a hook. Theres no other need for us than casting the line in and reeling it back in once something is on it clfh

I don't understand how anyone can even be a bad fisherman

Robotics are operating machinery and preforming surgeries, with human oversight.
The potential capabilities are staggering.
