Faith without works is dead, because believing the Spirit of the word, but not the letter to do it, is dead faith alone and has not the Spirit.

The only difference between OSAS sinners and unbelieving sinners, is OSAS believes the commandment of God is good and true and righteous, but they just don't believe in doing the letter of it.

They actually think they are justified by faith, while breaking the commandments of the Lord and sinning for the devil, because they at least know they are doing so against good law, and ought not.

Others committing the same sins are not justified, because they don't believe the Spirit nor the law of the Lord.

It's the old 'with you in spirit', while working against you in practice.

I.e. those sinning against knowledge are justified by Christ, while those sinning with unbelief are not.

They are the unrighteous opposites of legal Pharisees, Pharisees do the letter without the Spirit, and OSAS seeks the Spirit while doing away with the letter.

The Pharisees glorify the letter of the word, and OSAS just kills them off altogether.

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

It is impossible to do the word, while sinning against the letter of the word, nor can transgressors have the Spirit of the word.

There is no doing the word 'in spirit only', even as faith only is dead.
