If we do not our part in our salvation, then we have no part in the body of Christ, and will have no part in the first resurrection of the blessed.

Unconditional salvation for the lazy and worthless, who deny any part in being saved, is of course a lie to destroy them that hear and agree, but obey not to obtain eternal salvation of Jesus Christ.

Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.

Good to remember that faith is a work of God in any case (John 6); and it is God that worketh in us both to will and to do of His good pleasure (Philippians 2).

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Partakers are them that take part in escaping the lust and corruption of the world, by doing their part in purifying the heart within, that they may cleanse the hands without.

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Working out takes work: it's the exercise of the saints to eschew the evil and to do good. It's the work saints do with God to be saved and justified by God as they ascend the hill of the Lord.

Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently.

It's the part of the saints to work lust out of the heart and sin from the life, as it were devilish shrapnel from the soul and body on earth.

Saints do not love one another by fervently seeing to it, that they understand how they will continue to sin again and again as wretched double-minded sinners in this life, and cannot possibly do His righteousness at all times.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.

God's part is to give power to them that believe with the heart, and the believer's part is to become a son of God by that power to cleanse the heart and to kill the old man of sin. The saint's part is to do their part in cleansing and killing alongside Jesus the Son of God, and firstborn from the dead.

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Jesus' part is to knock on the door, and our part is to open the door by obeying His voice.

Jesus does not enter to be recieved by us as a maid to do all the work of cleaning within the house, while we off Him food for His labor.

We do our part by cleaning and scrubbing and throwing out the trash with Him, then we partake of supping with Him in breaking of the bread of Life.

Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

Drinking and eating of Him is by obediently with Him cleansing the home and killing the old man. Them who do not their part to obey Him with His power alongside Him, will not have any part in being raised up by Him at the last day.

Fight the good fight of faith. So run, that ye may obtain.

Our part is to fight and to run side-by-side with Him, and to walk in His steps as He walks with us, which is by hearkening to His voice to obey Him in all things.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

The saints part in being saved is to present their bodies to God to live blamelessly in this life. Them that do not their part in presenting themselves to God, will have no part when Jesus Christ presents His blameless church without spot to the Father.

The lazy and worthless professors of faith, who wait until the end to be made blameless, rather than doing the work of obeying the commandment to do so in this life, will not be walking with Jesus in white, because they are not willing today, and so will not be worthy tomorrow.

And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

Our part is to take up our cross, even as Jesus did His cross in the days of His flesh. Even as He was crucified on His cross, so must we crucify ourselves upon our cross alongside that of His own.

Jesus' cross is not our cross. His cross is for the whole world, and our cross is for ourselves.

The lazy and worthless think they can piggy-back on Jesus' cross, and make hollow applause of how He 'does it all', and pose in false humility how they have no part in it.

Abel did his part by offering up a better sacrifice.

Noah did his part by building the ark.

Abraham did his part by chasing away the fowls from his sacrifice to God, and laying with his wife past age. (Doing our part has great reward and can be quite fun as well.)

Moses and the children of Israel did their part by building the tabernacle in the wilderness.

We do our part by building our holy tabernacle to be pitched of the Lord on earth.

True. It is also good to remember that it is His faith given to us to do and obey, not our own faith of our own making:

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.

and it is God that worketh in us both to will and to do of His good pleasure (Philippians 2)

True again, while we work with His faith to make faith perfect and make ourselves presentable and acceptable to God in our lives:

Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

The work of God in us is to plant His perfect seed by hearing of the gospel.

Our work is to make good ground for His seed to produce His fruit and be His tree in this life:

Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.

The worthless professors of faith say they will not be blameless until the end, which is when the Lord will in a moment make then presentable and then present them 'as blameless' to God.

It's the same lie that they are 'seen' as righteous in this life, though they do not His righteousness as He is:

Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

The elect saints present themselves a living sacrifice to God, that they may do their part to be dressed and presentable for God in the end.

Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds.

But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

Only them that do their part to live holy and unblameably with the Lord in this life, will be presented as such to God in the next.

Babies that do no part to be dressed in this life, will not be dressed by the Lord in the end.

God does His part, which we could never do, and we do our part, which we can only do with Him: And we are the only ones that can do our part for our own soul's sake.

We have no part in our salvation. It's all Jesus!

True, sinners have no part in Jesus' salvation nor in His body.

Salvation, like the Head and the body, is a partnership.

Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

He that has no part in obeying the Head, is not a member of His body in part.

Salvation with Jesus is with Head and body: the body does it's part by obeying the Head.

If we do not our part of the body, we have no part in the body: them that have no part in salvation are not being saved with the body.

Them who have no part in the body, are dead limbs to be amputated and save the body from the sins of sinners.

If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.

Our walk with Jesus is ours to walk, not just His: He's already walked for Himself in the days of His flesh, now we must walk for our souls' sake with Him.

We are in partnership with Christ, sons and brethren and heirs of the firstborn: we are not carried around in His hand like a baby that has no part in life but to breathe and eat and drink.

We walk hand in hand in fellowship with Jesus, and our part is to hold to His hand unto the end, enduring and overcoming all temptation with Him, even as He did in the flesh.

No man plucks us out of His hand, in that no man nor power nor spirit nor lie nor temptation for sin can convince any saint to let go of His hand to commit sin: sinners only sin, because they let go of His hand to sin.

So long as we hold fast to His hand, He will certainly hold faster to ours, but if we seek to pull our hand away, he will let us go our own way:

Thus saith God, Why transgress ye the commandments of the LORD, that ye cannot prosper? because ye have forsaken the LORD, he hath also forsaken you.

Yet ye have forsaken me, and served other gods: wherefore I will deliver you no more.

Thus saith the LORD, Ye have forsaken me, and therefore have I also left you in the hand of Shishak.

Why then is this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual backsliding? they hold fast deceit, they refuse to return.

If we forsake Him for sinning, he forsakes us to sinning: If we are committing a sin, then He walks out the door to leave us in the hand of the devil.

Jesus has no fellowship with the devil and his sinners, and sinners have no part in His salvation, which sinners declare openly, thinking it to be humility.

Our salvation is reconciled partnership, friendship, and fellowship with the Lord, to work out our own salvation hand in hand with Him.

If we say we have no part in our own salvation, we speak truly, because as sinners, we have no salvation with Him at all.

There is no salvation that the saved have no part in by obeying the Head, even as their is no condemnation that sinners have no part in by obeying the devil: saints do their part to do God's righteousness, and sinners do their part to do the devil's sin.

Jesus does not carry babies in His hand across the finish line, who refuse to grow up in Him and do their part in running the race with Him: hand in hand.

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life.

That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

Those who have no part in our common salvation, have no hand in Jesus, nor His word, not His fellowship, nor His life in the flesh.

Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

Our part is to contend for the faith of Jesus, and run hand in hand with Him unto the end, that we may obtain the crown or righteousness and eternal salvation of life.

Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.

We have no part in our salvation. It's all Jesus!

True, unwashed sinners have no part in God's salvation.
