according to police reports he pushed aside parents who were trying to keep him away from the event and their children. He pushed his way to the front of the room and proceeded to shout obscenities and homophobic and transphobic slurs at children who were attended the event.

Not sure I agree with this statement linked to this event. I do think that barging into an event with children present and shouting is not the best way to protest and that the police had every right to remove him. Christians still have to be held accountable for how they choose to do things, and if this had been anyone else then the same action would have been taken.

I read the article, the pastor did turn up to the library and he was harassing the staff and manager while the event was taking place, so children were present. My point is that if anyone was to do this over here then the police would be called and the person would be removed by the police for causing a disturbance.
You cannot harass people who are just doing their jobs, even if you disagree with what they are doing. There are good and bad ways to protest. Also there are right and wrong ways to preach the word of God - has it ever occurred to you that the wrong way has actually brought about some of the laws being changed ! ( not all as I am well aware of hidden agendas )
