I know a lot of people don't think God gets mad.
But after those that chose to follow Jesus, God brought the Temple down.
Jerusalem fell in September 70 AD when Roman forces under Titus breached the city’s defenses, destroyed the Second Temple, and killed or enslaved tens of thousands, effectively ending the First Jewish–Roman War.
He allowed the destruction of that which had become no longer doing His will but they were doing their own.
Jesus came to warn them. He sent Paul to warn them.
And those that heard dispersed from Jerusalem and spread out.
Many did not escape.
They were eating and drinking and marrying and giving in marriage until the flood came and took them all away.
That flood in this case was the Roman Forces.
This wasn't the first time, the first time was when they were overcome by Babylon and went into servitude.
Daniel and others they found favor with the King. They didn't disobey Gods law, but they did follow respecting those in Authority.
Because of this Daniel was elevated, taken from the dungeon and made 2nd to the King.
Because Daniel obeyed God, he was sent to a den of lions, and placed in a furnace.
But that didn't change Daniel's heart to do what God had said not to do.
He would not bow down and worship any other god, to save his life.
And eventually Babylon gave them up, and it was Cyrus the Great of Persia (Iran) that helped Israel rebuild the 2nd Temple.
God gave them another chance.
From the escape from Egypt to Mt. Sinai, they fought wars, they survived. God was with them.
Every time they got comfortable, another Goliath would appear.
King Saul was a chosen and anointed by the High Priest to become King.
And when he thought it best to do things his way. Saul lost his Crown and it was given to David.
David as a child saw the Philistines were coming against Jerusalem and no one really wanted to take on Goliath,
Every day, day after day, Goliath come to the field in front of the gate and call them out.
If it hadn't been for David and his bravery his courage and knowing that God was with him,
Jerusalem may have lost their own kingdom. Didn't look like anyone was willing to put their life on the line to defend what God had given them.
So David, took a sling and some stones, because the armor Saul put on him was too heavy and awkward. So he chose to wear no armor for protection. All he needed was God to direct the stone that made it's way right between Goliath's eyes, taking him down so that they could have peace in the land.
Sometimes in order to have peace you have to show that you are strong, so you don't get bullied.
And that's what David did.
So when it came time to have a new King because Saul had disobeyed God, God chose David a man after his own heart, the apple of his eye.
And I'm not even sure what that means, but it's in there.
God is not a respecter of persons doesn't mean he doesn't have more favor for some than others.
It's just some listen and obey his directions better than others.
My point is, Jesus came to save any who would hear him, because those who wouldn't got destroyed by the flood, or Romans.
America is in that same situation right now.
There is a Goliath that has broken through the gate and trying to set up shop in our land.
They are not our friends, they mean to do us harm and take this country over.
They didn't just creep in, we left the gate wide open and said welcome.
No different than a Trojan Horse.
Just because your in the church, doesn't mean that those things which God has given us, as God gave Jerusalem to Israel, and lost it.
Doesn't mean the physical land on which the church lives on, won't be taken away too.
And just David, we will have to choose to not fight and allow Goliath to destroy us, or we will have to be a David,
and even though we only have a sling and some stones, we can still Trust that God will be with us.
I don't want war, but it's at our gate. It's in our gate and through the wall and in the cities and the towns.
And we want to just close our eyes and make it disappear. But Goliath isn't going away until we are conquered physically and they try to crush your spirit.
They have no mercy because they don't have Our God. They don't know Our God.
And we can either use strength and courage and Trust God that we will win this battle,
or we can mourn over our rights to pray, to fellowship, to walk freely, and live peaceably.
I prefer peace to war.
So to get to peace we may have to go through war. Because they're not going to go away by themselves.
The world is experiencing a shake up. And I believe God is trying to get our attention.
The first time we had a war on this soil was 1776 to gain our Independence to free ourselves from tyranny.
The testimony is found in the Declaration of Independence of why we believed we were right to fight for our freedom.
It took awhile but we fought another war on this soil and we ended slavery. This war wasn't with another Country.
This one we fought each other, it was the Civil War.
There been other battle and other wars to conquer land to expand from sea to shining sea.
But these two were fought for freedom.
This time it's not Britain and it's not ourselves, there is and has been an invasion in our country happening slowly for the last 20 years or more.
From 2019 to 2025 there was a surge and over 20 million came across our southern border. And our northern border too but not mentioned as much. It wasn't out of humanity that they were let in. They deliberately left the gate open. It wasn't a mistake, it was by design.
I believe and I trust that God has put in place whatever is needed to protect us.
Whether it is our military, national guard, local police and State police.
The soldiers that protect the castle , the law enforcement that are there to protect us, protect this country from being destroyed,
God has them in position.
The Lord and Savior of our souls will protect our spirit, which is his own.
We will not give up our faith, our hope and our love for each other. That is the Spirit that we all share.
Faith Hope and Love are inside this vessel we call a body. And this body our flesh is what holds these things together inside us.
It's this vessel that God wants to use to do his will with.
When He blows that trumpet we should be ready and prepared to defend what we love.
Our families, our homes, our schools, our country.
We need to be David's and Daniels. Pick up the slingshot against the enemy, and yet have honor and respect to those in Authority without compromising your faith and hope and love.
Both things are possible and both things are necessary.
David trusted God, Daniel trusted God, Jesus trusted his Father, and we need to do the same.
Theres a lot of chatter, lot of red flares and warning signs going up in a lot of places.
Mass deportations are happening everywhere. Helicopters drones, even Military planes flying overhead.
Goliath is in the gate, and we will have to remove him.
We will either crush or be crushed.
We can either armor up or buckle down.
We need to Pray. And stand strong. And have no fear.
Trust God. If we do His will, he won't let us down.
God Bless our Men and Women in Uniform.
To fight the battles so that we can live in peace.
4th of July, Independence Day. I'm not so sure it's just going to be firecrackers and sparklers and fireworks.
Not saying this to upset or scare anyone, just be alert.
There is no country where there are no laws. And this country has been lawless for some time now.
We have to turn back to God. Not those who are already in Christ who already have been spiritually saved.
But those who are still being called.
Last Call. It's the final harvest.
I know it's a little ahead of schedule, final harvest is usually in the fall.
And we're falling. And unless those days be shortened, no flesh would be saved.
Your flesh and bone is the temple that holds the Spirit of God in you.
Trust in the Spirit and he will take care for the temple in which He resides.
That's what God's soldiers are for.
And I call them Angels because they put themselves between us and those that would destroy us.
Angels don't need to believe in things they don't see, they already know.
Their faith isn't in what they can't see, but what they do.
And we have to trust God.
