When one repents of their sin, one understands the passage (Matthew 4:17). Right?
The kingdom of heaven, the kingdom of God is not heaven you are conflating them. You can ask all the questions to divert the biblical distinction you want but it won’t change those facts.

Luke 16:27-31 KJV
27) Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
28) For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
29) Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
30) And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
31) And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

?

Much love!
Do you know that God, in fact, did send someone from the dead = HE rose on the 3rd Day

What is the revelation of Truth here in Luke 16:27-31?

"What then shall we say that Abraham our father has found according to the flesh?
For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God.
For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”

Until one does as Jesus commanded and repents, how can one understand?

Isnt it rather odd that these folks seem to be from all roads , all religions . YET when JESUS Revealed himself
to paul, HE REBUKED PAUL for the path paul was on . YET all these different folks from different strokes and walks
SEEM TO NOT HEAR any rebuking for the lost path they were on . RATHER they all seem to experience
an idea that all is well , heaven is for all , NO MESSAGE About BELEIVING IN JESUS CHRIST .
NO message or reminder at all about having to BELEIVE IN CHRIST . ITS ALL A FARCE and its a delusion .
These folks are giving a testimony of an experience that they know will be mocked and ridiculed. They know that most people would label them crazy or liars and a cuse them of being motivated by money or publicity; yet they are compelled to tell ther story. Who would want that spotlight for a lifetime. You might be ostracized from groups. "There goes that freak ..." As far as I can see, an experience like that has to be a sobering rebuke of the sinful life.

Another book I read was " 23 minutes in Hell"! Visiting Hell would certainly have as much of an effect on people as well. The description he gave of being in a dark dungeon-like , fearful place of loneliness, with a presence of evil for a minute was overwhelming. The outcome of his journey, an immediate believer, a changed life. And that is what people see.

Until one repents, one really can't know, can they?
I assume you mean "Born Again".
A person can repent till they see blue, but without being Born Again repentance means nothing.
There are 1000's , and many more, who repent daily but don't accept Christ as saviour.
They will be lost.

Scripture says there is only one way to the Father (in Heaven), and that's through Jesus Christ. (To be "born again")

As far as what heaven looks like:

“Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them. They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes” (Revelation 7:15-17).

That's good enough for me.

They have done the same to Jesus Christ.
They mocked Him as well.

I have had a similar experience.
But that's ok.
There are always people who don't ridicule, and end up being born again.

By "repent," I mean "stop sinning."

"Heaven Is For Real" is a good book, made into a movie - watch it. It is an account of a four year old boy on the operaring table who left his body while under, saw angels who sang to him, spoke to Jesus and relatives who've past on that he never knew about. Before he was born, his mother had a miscarriage and this grown child _ in heaven _ greeted him with a hug. I believe the account.
John was shown visions and others as well, why not now?

St. Joseph's understanding is complete and infallible.

Why would anyone want to sin?
No true Born Again Christian is going out to sin willfully.
None would want to sin.

But we are still living in a sinful world.

I guess you did not read my previous post:
Falling in sin not the same as willfully sinning.

If God is just, I a sinner, standing in Christ, can never be punished.

God would have to change His nature before one soul for whom Jesus
was a substitute could possibly suffer the lash of the law.

My hope lives not because I am not a sinner, but because I am a sinner
for whom Christ died.

My trust is not that I am holy, but that being unholy He is my righteousness.
My faith rests not upon what I am, but in what Christ is, in what He has done,
and in what He is now doing for me.

Why would anyone want to sin?
Rom 8:20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope

Really Bob? Think about this verse... It matters!!!
