Did you forget already that Jesus sent the 11 to all the world to preach repentance the kingdom of heaven and the commandments, see matt 28;

Mat 28:16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.

Mat 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

I have told you this already, Jesus gospel is universal one see also the parables of Jesus, his Message is for ALL who believe in Him and do his father's will, it is not just about Israel.

Jesus commanded the twelve disciples to teach all nations not you and me

I believe this will be accomplished in the tribulation

Paul commanded us to be ambassadors and to make all see the fellowship of the mystery

No salvation in the Old Testament.
He is testifying that salvation was through Yeshua.

it is growing since Jesus came to plant the first seed among us, the disciples carried these seed throughout the world to plant more. it is a continuous process.

jeezzzz, the Mystery again. Jesus always spoke openly and never taught in secret or kept mystery from his followers. there are a lot of different views on this forum as many as there are denominations. I am nor PART OF ANY OF THESE I follow Christ and only HIM and always tell you What Christ tells us to all yes, you , me and everybody else, there is only one truth and one GOD. your thoughts about God salvation resurrection MUST align with the words of Christ, please Doug, verify this to be certain your doctrines align perfectly with All of Jesus did and said. if not please consider, Only Jesus saves and it is by his words and teachings that we shall be saved, as well Jesus said that to enter into Life one MUST keep the commandments and do the will of our Father in heaven.

the relevance is that Peter preached far away from jerusalem . no proof in scripture ( the bible) true but many other works shows he did, we do not have all the details but the disciples preached far and wide, if you go to a specialized religion oriented library I ( as found in universities) You could search about the 11 and where they wend to preach. many libraries are on line now.

you speak of "NOT in SCRIPTURE" but you yourself sometimes do ignore scripture that i and other give you and do not even consider them, that Doug is not right, many here do try very hard to help you but you do not seem to listen and when you do I see that later you revert to your own previous position on specific doctrine, Something is holding you back from truth Doug, either a preacher a church, I do not know but you do. jesus saves and no one else;

"Then a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, my Chosen One. Listen to him.”

This happened at Jesus baptism, God himself witnessed Jesus and asked us to listen to him, meaning do as he asks!

Paul preached mainly the cross, death and resurrection of Christ but many very important aspects that Jesus preached are lacking from Paul's gospel that he calls ""MY GOSPEL""

jesus explained to them his death from scripture and opened their minds to it. However the HOLY spirit was not sent yet to all who believed Jesus.


Before Jesus’ Resurrection:

• Jesus teaches the 12 apostles privately for years.
  (Matthew 13:11) – “It has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.”
  Jesus revealed His teachings to His chosen disciples long before Paul appears.
• Peter is given revelation directly from the Father.

• The apostles are sent to preach the gospel before Jesus dies.

yes Doug, there is only one gospel, the complete words of Jesus Christ the Son of GOD. Jesus did say many things and did so many things, if you listen to Him and do his will you will have eternal life.

see Jesus message was more than just his death and resurrection, jesus preached repentance, why? because without it none will enter the Kingdom Of Heaven.

Thats why I asked which gospel...................I dont remember ever saying that Paul received his gospel before the twelve........the twelve were preaching the gospel of the kingdom before Paul's conversion

That was Paul boasting again to rise himself above the 12, when will you learn, cant you see Paul here diminished the disciples of Christ?

what did Jesus say about Peter Doug? here it is;

Mat 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

they did not seem to be the pillar THEY WERE THE PILLAR of the church!!

if you believe Paul above Peter you are making a serious Mistake!

I have no dispute that the apostles were given understanding of his death and resurrection in this passage. That doesnt change the fact that before this they didnt understand anything of it so how could they preach salvation by his death and resurrection
