Don't be sad. The first step in accepting Jesus as our savoir, is realizing how needy we are. Yep, it is depressing. We are unclean & unworthy. And no way, do we measure up on our own. None of us is worthy. That is the point.Next you need to reach out to God. Ask Jesus to be the Lord of your life.There is another thread with the scripture verses to help you. I'll be right back with it.

God loves everyone,but not everyone loves God.We do not know your complete spiritual walk,but it is possible you may have had alot of unrepentant sin creating a barrier between you and God,and when you felt most desperate God screamed through that barrier to let you know He was still there where you left Him.We all do this,we place barriers of sin between us and God and dont even realize it.But we will need more information before we cab truly understand and help.
