that tried to tear her throat open.
She escaped but its beak opened the tissues on the front of her throat. It didn't penetrate her esophagus, thank you Father.

I went to snuggle her before leaving for work today and she looked up at me and that's when I saw it.

I'm at the Vets now in an emergency appointment.

Thank you Am. *hugs

Turns out after a prolonged cold tray surgery on the tissue of her throat, it wasn't a Turkey Buzzard after all.

I've witnessed cats attacked that way by them before. One stranger cat was on an abandoned property and covered by a whole flock. They descended on the cat and pinned them to the ground and started eating them alive.

If you all have cats, puppies elderly pets you let outside, watch out for them. People think Buzzards eat carion only.

Typically, yes. However,Turkey Buzzards are omnivores .When hungry, they'll overpower defenseless animals. Old or young, and if they are meek or weak.

I found that stranger cat way too late to save their life. They were dead and I can still see the horror frozen in their face.

The Vet found a small tooth in my cat's throat tissue. Likely a cats. She was attacked by a cat! Going for her throat. It's a miracle her esophagus wasn't ripped open.

She's home now. They can't close the wound because the tissue is so open. She's going to get light therapy to heal the tissue faster.

Thank you for the prayers.

I prayed for your cat to be healed of its wounds. I hope God restores your cat to good health and condition.
