Pope Francis Elected, Mystery of Iniquity Moves On By Richard Bennett, March 19th 2013

From the Vatican, Francis is now recognized worldwide as Pope. However, few people have any understanding of how the office of the Pope was initiated. Few also have any idea of the malevolent deeds that Popes have consistently perpetrated on mankind throughout history. Needed, therefore, is an accurate account of the inner character of the Papacy. This we have done in our article, “Pope Francis Elected: Mystery of Iniquity Moves On.” An understanding of the Papacy is required in these critical days.

The article appears to have some historically useful information, but for it to give any credence to the Malachy prophecy, or to the idea that the Papacy is the mystery of iniquity, sends me the signal that it's not worth reading.

"In 330 A.D., Emperor Constantine moved the seat of the Imperial Roman Empire from Rome to Constantinople. By that time, he had decreed Christianity the religion of the Empire in hopes that by means of its acceptance a new unifying strength could be infused into his crumbling empire."

And so it goes into error at the very start.

Christianity did not come to be the state religion until the reign of EmperorsTheodosius (in the East) and Gratian (in the West) in 380 AD, with the pagan Emperor Julian in between (among others)

If Richard Bennet can't even get a simple historical fact like that right what value is the rest of his diatribe?

Well, the problem with articles like this is that Protestants can historically be accused of many of the same misdeeds. We might not have ex cathedra to work with, but even many of the Reformers (and their movements) persecuted other movements.

What comes out of the bowels of every movement brings elimination of what was once ingested. This is very human!

Wonder why many point out the Catholics in Christian forums. They are not mentioned in the bible. Nor are they more important than any other denomination.

So is it because some man has prescribed a false interpretation to scripture? I believe that is the case.

I'm not sure to which 'Malachy prophecy you refer. Please could you give chapter and verse?

Also, the term 'the Papacy' tends to include the whole organisation over which the Pope has jurisdiction. You seem to be saying that the mystery of iniquity has nothing to do with the Papacy, so if that is true, (and it would be interesting to know whether you've ever met any ex-Catholics, or how you have gained understanding of the system of Catholicism) how do you observe and acknowledge its manifestation on the earth today, and historically?

Okay, thanks. What about the rest of my question about where you do see 'the mystery of iniquity'?
