Nope. .--I was down there yesterday when I posted- I have a house there.
Beaches were full of people enjoying the day- some rougher waves than usual which is expected- some minor beach erosion no big deal. Beach on 8th street open- as all are.
I was on the boards too for a bit- all looked good. I have no reason to make this up!
I can't speak to the other Jersey beach towns but pic in your post 18 article is not right. As I said, some street flooding which is not unusual.

Look ..here is the mayor's message on the 22nd- high tides caused some minor beach erosion, some local flooding which isn't unusual there. No beaches are closed there! The news is and always has been ---alarmists.

Where do you happen to live? Obviously not near the sea.. It is usual for waters to cover SOME streets at high tide after a storm at the beach. That is when the "news" tapes and makes a huge deal as if the whole city is flooded. lol Nothing of the sort is even close. The water recedes as the tide does... It's life at the beach..
I am unsure as to why you are resisting what I am telling you I saw with my own eyes. I even gave you the mayors report- and I gave you the beach cams. Your 8th ST pic is utter baloney. 8th ST beach is open and fine.
Yes, There is some minor flooding at high tide which happens here- especially where the bay and sea are very close together like 37th st. is which is the street shown in your news video. There is no big deal here and I have no idea why you would want there to be.
